China has a lot of dialect, and some dialect is very hard to the ear. For example, Dylan Wang's Sichuan's accent. If they uses his actual voice, the whole drama will look so weird, especially if it's an ancient setting drama. Just imagine Dong Fang Qing Chang speaking in Sichuan accent, will be hilarious.

This is not historical drama. This is Xianxia drama, which means fantasy drama. If you’d only watch modern setting drama, you have to prepare yourself for fantasy. It’s very different, and against all logic in the world. Enjoy. lol

Thank you for reminding me. Now I remember Chang Heng and Rong Hao talked about that. And that’s it. That’s very unusual for C-drama. Usually they will make at least 10 episodes to tell that storyline. LOL. This is also why this drama is so amazing. It doesn’t drag us through unnecessary story.

When does Chang Heng fell in love with Orchid? When did that happen? I am already at episode 30, but thinking back what made him so head over heal over Orchid? In a heartbeat , he jumped into tribulation for her. And there even is a strict rule that he is not allow to have feelings for other fairy (and vice versa) because he is betrothed to Goddess Xishan. So how did that happened? I may have miss it. (because I was being too focus on DFQC). 😆
