I'm kinda ok with this drama's ending. In a way, it's actually a good ending compare to the history. If you read the actual history of this empress, she was quite a slut. And they never mention Lao Ai's famous penis. LOL.

I love both actor and actress from their previous work but somehow they lack chemistry and I can't bring myself to finish watching this. :(

A feel good college/university drama. I always enjoy a simple drama like this, about friends, family and life as a student. Almost feel like Reply 1988 but not as good.

Of course, there will always be a heated discussion when someone dislike the drama/movie and fans will swarm in defence. And I, to be fair, endured the whole ordeal,from start till the end, so I am entitle for my piece of opinion, NO? I got impatient from the torturous and boring episode 1-16 and ppl here (and also my friend) assured me that it will get better. But seriously, for real? After 16 effing episodes and then only I will expect it to be interesting? If this is a kdrama, I would have dropped at epi 10 if I find it getting boring. And then at episode 20, I double checked with my friend again, 'are you sure it will get better?'. LOL. Honestly, the drama only prick my interest at episode 30 and I was like ,'FINALLY!!!'
I love melodrama, I love a good romance, I thought this is my perfect cup of tea, but apparently, it's not. I cringed at a lot of scene, especially at the bed scene when Ye Hua said, "Qian Qian, give birth to another child for me". Oh dear God lord, that is the most unromantic, turn off thing I've ever heard. Instead of swooning at this couple, I LOLed.
Anyway, I was glad I made it through, I wouldn't say it wasted my time, I don't hate it. I enjoyed some character, some scene, but yea, have to agree that it is a very over-rated drama.

well, he in fact is suppose to be old, he has lived for centuries. LOL

because if she doesn't claim the child was the emperor's she cant have the child born, her maids advised her to abort the child but she insisted on having it. And she can't run away, because this will get her family killed (her father is already in a bad position).

Actually it's not about logic, this is a fantasy drama, who talks about logic anyway? It's character development. As Si Yin I was waiting eagerly for her to buck up, because everyone is speaking so highly of Bai Qian, but seems like she has yet to show her full potential yet even when she's back as Bai Qian. But I shall wait, since it's too early for me to judge. But then 14 episodes later, she has become SuSu. I did say in my comment, I don't blame her, I know that's how her character should be, naive and pure and lonely. That is why I am pulling myself through this few episodes, and I can't wait for Ye Hua to betray her so that she can be strong and powerful again (hmm....White Hair Bride??). Whether he wants it or not, it's a given spoiler he will, because Susu has been saying so many times, don't you ever betray me.

then it's cheating and the teacher helped on the cheating....not very cool. LOL

16 episodes into this drama and I keep asking 'why did everyone say this drama is good????'

me too at episode 16 and at the verge of dropping this drama. but then with all the raving reviews i will go on. Hope it gets better.....

I am at episode 16 and I felt like dropping this drama. I've heard so many good reviews about this drama and everyone has been saying it's soooo good. It's even a 10/10 here. That's why I stayed until epi 16.
1. Much like Sleeping Beauty, why would anyone fall in love with a stranger in the forest???? and you know nothing about that dude. and got married to him out of loneliness. Kids, DON'T DO THAT. please. I know SuSu is naive and pure, I don't blame her, I just prefer a smarter and stronger female lead. (I watch this right after I watched Empresses in the Palace, I guess I prefer smart evil women).
2. I know this drama has to be about 三生三世 so they have to be realllllly quick with the timeline. And people just fall in love with a snap of the fingers. At first, Ye Hua was introduced as a man that has no feeling and indifferent to emotion. I really enjoyed the episode when he was the little 'black snake', wished they could show more of that. But seems like it takes very few effort to change a God's heart.
3. The drama keep introducing new characters that serves little to no purpose to the story. Ok, maybe they do later in the story. Lets see....
Since this is not really a long drama, I will continue watching.

Wow, can't wait to see Jang Hyuk again. Seems like a very serious drama. But I'm not as excited for the female lead. Not a very good pairing. Lets just hope there's no romance

One of the reason I don't like this drama is because the main leads are Mary Sue and Gary Stu. If you know what I mean....

Well she doesn't look 15 and he doesn't look 30, and they are not dating in their real life. They are probably playing character that is not their age, so what is the problem here again?

To add another popular drama into your list, which I think probably you will dislike too. Descendant of the Sun. I don't understand why this got so popular too.
