Xie Wei from Story of Kunning Palace is also morally grey and complex character. His story is also very tragic. His demeanor is very consistent throughout the drama, unlike some badass character who instantly turns into a mush puppy when they fell in love with the FL. (ahem...Love Like the Galaxy...cough). As for TTJ from TTEOTM, he is one of my fave character too but I really miss him as Tan Tai Jin, but when he is Chang Jiu Min, he also turns into mushy puppy in love. hahaha

TBH, I always love a bad boy, morally grey character but XL is more than morally grey. He is a total abusive red flag. Which is my limit for bad boy. He hurts FL in a few different occasion, even when he knew she's a woman. So that's a big NO for me. TSJ is a boring doormat and CX is family. So if were me, I will not choose either of them as a love interest. LOL. But out of these 3, I would say TSJ is the safest and he never has the intention to hurt her, even when she's WXL, so TSJ should get more bunny points. and CX's sudden attraction to XY is very weird and creepy. I haven't finish watching, I'm at the at CX's arc and it just turns me off. I dropped it for some time and recently continue back. I'm fastfowarding a lot of their scenes. lol
Episode 25 onwards is a bit hard to get through, I had to pause to finish The Last Immortal. The first half of this drama was so good, I didnt expect I would enjoy it more when she's a man! LOL
For the record, this drama doesn’t have a lot of blood vomiting. Most of the c-drama is so over-doing the blood puking and I am surprise that this xianxia doesnt have much of that. 😂

Yes, even in the reset timeline, he still have the tendency to end ALL including himself, his destructiveness worries his friend, Luxian. That is why LX hopes JXN will be the one who could cushion him, or at least be there for him. And also all the neck choke, self stabbing, shows that this man only knows how to destruct, himself and people around him. JXN is his redemption and he is JXN’s too. For me, this grey character is very very well written.
