The part that I find funny with historical drama, most of them die too easily. Especially women. They really like to run into a wall and hit their head, and die??? And when they got too angry, receive bad news or something, they will vomit blood. This, I really couldnt accept. LOL

I think the blood drinking part was to prevent dehydration? As for dementia, I think it is a due to poor translation. They should say it's hallucination? LOL I dont know.

To each of their own. You can critic the actors and story of course. We welcome you to do so. No dramas and actors are perfect in their craft. Even the perfect actor/actress you named, they may not be perfect for others. Art is very subjective, and always have room for improvement. Is ok, I know you are not hater. For me BL and ZLH are perfect for this role.

Its fine. Her character is not suppose to be likeable. She was an evil empress in her first life and sometimes she still has that air in her reborn second life. I love it when she just look at these palace ladies knowing that they are not her competition at all.
XW will guide and bring her on the right path. XW could make her an empress too 🥺🥺 She needs XW to tame…
I believe she was a nice person when she was younger (14yrs old?), through XW's memory (episode 9). That scene was very endearing because to her surprise XW could see the good in her.

tbh, this drama has a considerably low amount of biatches; 2 of the princess study companion ladies, and JXN’s mom. Which is very ok compare to other palace dramas. 😂 I am glad that JXN’s stepsister has a soft and harmless demeanor. Don’t forget the biggest biatch is JXN herself 😝 You can see how much she is trying to hold back herself from talking back or interfere in those palace gossips.
