Yea I really don’t mind the business talk eventhough I dont understand them to the fullest. But it’s definitely more interesting than video game theme. I couldnt stand it if the drama is video game theme (like You Are My Glory). But it’s just preference, to each of its own

I find that the business talks are not that boring but interesting. The setting is similar to Love Is Sweet but LIS has very annoying SML and SFL which I fast forwarded almost all their scene. I saw some comments said this drama has very good secondary couple, so I cant wait to find out. And Shiyan IS DFQC reincarnation!!! XD
Modern drama is always so much cheaper to make. They only have to have enough budget to pay these traffic actors…
and for the actors, once a while they will take up a modern drama with simpler script like this, because it's good money and easier work. Less make ups and heavy props and costumes, familiar environment.
I'm not rating this drama yet with 8eps, but to be honest, the overall premise is kinda mediocre and done ten…
Modern drama is always so much cheaper to make. They only have to have enough budget to pay these traffic actors and dont need to spend much on props, costume, setting, lighting etc. For example like You are My Glory, mediocre story but with A-list drama actors pairing. I seldom watch modern romcom because like what you pointed out, most of them has formulaic storyline. But after watching so much angsty period dramas with open/sad endings, modern drama like this is a breather for us. And HE with modern rom-coms are SO much higher. LOL
