I hate the emperor for being a murderer and getting away with it + I hate him for using Sunny.
Also, Sunny could have walked away from all this, but I cannot blame her at all, if I were her I would accept to marry him as well. He acted quite well + he was so sweet and romantic + he did nice gestures <3 Uhh I hate myself for liking him as well.
I would probably end up in a love/hate feeling towards the emperor throughout this whole drama.
For Na Wang Shik, he survived a head shot, which is kind of unbelievable + although we know they changed actors, it is exaggerated that they expect us to believe that it is the same person. They have different features.
For Yu Ra, I hate her as well. She managed to manipulate the Emperor to her side but I'm glad she did not totally get away with it. The Emperor's mother got in her way. Well his mother is evil and crazy as well. Who the heck installs cameras in their children's rooms?! + she kills people as well. Like mother, like son.
Anyway, I'm liking this drama, it's very addictive to watch + makes you curious to see what happens next :D + I'm already commenting on this drama very early on lol, which means I like it xD Awesome acting from all actors btw, they're all excellent and convincing :D
The story was not bad, it was cute, light and fluffy + the dogs were so cute :3 And there were parts when I smiled :)
However, it was awkward. I don't know if it's the acting or how the main characters were made or both, but they were awkward + poor communication between them and too shy. They made me feel frustrated. Yeah ok they are each others' first love, but it was too awkward.
I mostly liked her brother, as he mostly helped them, and give them a push :D + the manager of the dogs cafe, he was hilarious xD + the cousin, he was less awkward than the male lead and more honest.
Anyway, it was not bad on the whole. It's nice to watch if you want something light and quick to watch.
I loved it :D Short and sweet + fluffy, great chemistry and a guilty pleasure.
Yeah ok in the beginning I did not like it as they called the lead actress ugly, when she is pretty.
Ok maybe she is not pretty by the korean beauty standards but she is beautiful, pretty and a great actress.
Any way, I liked the message that everyone can be loved in any shape and size and focuses on the character + how well you get on with that person + he/she fills what you lack and makes you whole ^_^
Also, liked the main actress parents + fashion theme :)
Worth a watch if you want to watch something short, cute, fluffy and makes you smile :3
Love this drama! Ok the story is full of cliches, kind of predictable, nothing special and the evil plot of the villains is kind of stupid. It's becuase their 'evil plot' got caught quickly especially Ah Ran, she made it obvious + we know who is the one who actually got her into it, but we don't know why he is targeting Ling Yi Zhou yet.
Moreover, I love the romance and chemistry between the leads. They're so cute, sweet and adorable together! <3 <3 <3 Also, the story is hilarious at times and makes me smile a lot :D
Also, I love Jia Lin's friend Jia Fei. She's an awesome friend, always by Jia Lin's side, supporting her and helping her when needed, especially to help her patch up with Ling Yi Zhou :D I'm looking forward for Jia Fei to end up with Ling Yi Zhou's assistant, they're cute as well ^_^
For Chu Yan, he's awesome as well :D Yeah, ok he did fall for Jia Lin and helped her multiple times, but I'm glad, it did not turn out a love triangle or a fight between Ling Yi Zhou and him. When he got kidnapped and everyone thought he was dead, a girl helped him. I'm kind of hoping he will end up with her, as they had something going on ;D We'll see ^_^ Also, I'm glad he patched things up with his father.
Parts I hated were:
The amnesia part where Ling Yi Zhou forgot about Jia Lin, uhh that's part was sad and hateful.
Also, the part where he manipulated her health results. What the heck! I was baffled, angry and shocked about it. I really did not expect that :0
If according to him, Jia Lin's health was an opportunity to get close to her as he fell in love with her, I'm sorry there's something wrong here. That's not love, but he got obsessed with her + selfish.
Also, he is a CEO of a company, I'm 100% sure he could have gotten another opportunity to get close to her + she's an actress, he could have offered her to do an advert for his company, etc. Ok maybe the writer wanted to change the usual pattern and he/she managed to shock me at least.
Anyway, Ling Yi Zhou realized that he was totally wrong and after many nice, cute and adorable actions and gestures to get her to forgive him, they're back together :) The fake death news of Chu Yan helped them as Jia Lin realized that life is too short and can end quickly + she still loved him so = we get to see cute and adorable moments again :3
Btw, I forgot to mention that the story is not draggy and I'm glad as Chinese drama tend to be long and draggy. However, the story is moving in a great pace without unnecessary and extra plots to fill in.
Also, even though I haven't finished it yet, this drama is worth a watch + enjoyable + a great drama if you want to watch a light, hilarious, short and rom-com story :D Ok the kisses are not that great but you'll still like this drama for their chemistry ^_^
So, I'll shut up and continue watching ;P
EDIT: on 22/3/19
Finished! :D Love the ending + awesome ending for all couples ^_^ The story is nothing special or new but it's enjoyable, hilarious, light and sweet + awesome chemistry between the leads and all the other characters :D
Loved the drama! Very interesting cases and I was never able to guess who the villain was in each case.
Also, awesome acting from all characters. I watched all 8 episodes in one day :D
HUGE SPOILERS:
For Wato, I started to hate her and see her as stupid, as she totally believed that counselor.
Yeah, ok Sherlock did kill the war photographer Wato loved. But she did for a reason because he was going to spread the virus he decided to infect himself with and wanted to spread it.
Also, Wato did see the North Star picture in his apartment so she probably suspected but chose to ignore it and blamed Sherlock instead. Ok but I cannot blame Wato fully, she was brainwashed and had trauma from Syria.
For the last episode, I could not believe that Sherlock died and I kind of expected for her to appear even though we saw her jumping from a building with the counselor.
And yeah we technically did not see her alive, we saw her legs and shoes, so we assume she's alive. How? and What happened exactly I have no idea, but it's a cliffhanger. I hope they continue it.
The first time I saw him was in personal taste and although his character wasn't the best ever, he impressed me and liked him ever since :D I also saw him in Cheongdamdong Alice, Chuno, Sassy Go Go and Another Miss Oh (his character here was the most hilarious! xD)
He's an awesome actor who deserves more lead roles :D I look forward to see his other dramas, especially the latest one Top Star Yoo Baek, I want to see that one ^_^ Nice article btw :D
The story is not that good, it is nothing special and it feels boring and draggy. Even the acting is fake at many times and their expressions and acting looks wrong.
However, despite the acting, I like the lead couple, they are cute together ^_^ That is mostly why I continued watching it.
EDIT;
Finished! It wasn't the best BL story, but it wasn't totally bad. Ok I did not like it for the reasons mentioned above, but I watched it all for curiosity and for the main couple they're so cute ^_^
In terms of story wise, I prefer season 1 when compared to season 2.
Season 2 was interesting in the martial aspects + competitions and interactions between the leads (they were cute and adorable <3) only.
I also liked the rest of the Song Bai Hall family, although I found them kind of useless and they only depended on Bai Cao, the coach and Hu Yi Feng to win. It was actually near the ending of this whole drama that most of them won the competitions. The rest was draggy + I fast forwarded it a lot.
Also, I really hated the beginning where Bai Cao was obsessed with the hair clip Ruo Bai gave her + she linked winning to him coming back, etc but thankfully it ended in 8 episodes.
Also, I hated the part when she blamed herself for Tang Yi's injury and stopped training even though her leg had healed, that part was sad. But she got over the trauma and won the competitions afterwards.
Also, I was kind of reluctant to watch this drama after they changed the actress as I liked the original one, and it took me a while to watch, but I liked this main actress as Bai Cao as well.
Moreover, I liked the main actor, even though it was not Ruo Bai. I kind of knew that Ruo Bai would not appear in the second season, since I heard that the actor did not want to appear again + his character got health problems. Also, at the end of season 1, I assumed he died and that's what they all said in the beginning of season 2.
However, we got lead on that he is alive recovering in America since the guy that Tang Yi loved stayed in America for an important patient. Also, Hu Yi Feng went there and after he came back, he asked Bai Cao what she would do if Ruo Bai is alive, so probably he is still alive. We don't know for sure anyway.
Also, the last 2 episodes were the most useless; not only we got to see lots of flashback but Bai Cao never officially agreed to go out with Chang An (the coach) or told him that she liked him, even after all he has done for her and confessed to her multiple times, uhh! That was most unsatisfying. I really wanted her to him him, yes! She told him that she still has Ruo Bai in her heart! :/
Anyway, the story was not all bad and I don't regret watching it. I finally got to watch it after 3 years and satisfied my curiosity that was stored in the back of my head, as after all this time I wandered about it.
But truthfully, the last 15 episodes, I fast forwarded the most, as it got draggy and annoying at times. So you might like it a lot, might like it average or might not like it at all, so watch it if you want or are curious.
Agree with you, but I even if i don't like a drama that much or I find it so-so, I still watch it with lots of fast forwarding as I'm kind of obsessed to finish it. As I will regret it later or wonder how it would have ended if I drop it.
However, if a drama is boring to death even with lots of fast forwarding, I then finally drop it with no regrets.
currently watching and on ep 6.....
