I’m surprised actually as well. So many haven’t even given the girl a chance. I’m Japanese and we like characters in anime like this. She gives me Hinata and Orihime. Your typical Waifu cutesy anime girl vibes. Her character is also like other cdrama characters I loved. I don’t always need a strong fighter type female character. This year I’ve had my filled of them from female generals, female warriors, to female Goddesses and demonesses. I’m over this type for now. So when I saw her I immediately gravitated towards her. Her whole character essence is what I am looking for since TIA with Mo Caihuan. I felt like I didn’t see many of those type of characters this year. But the hate is definitely weird. Than there’s BL CP fans. All in all, I feel like if a character annoys you that much and their not doing anything remotely justifiable for the hate. Then it’s a you problem 😭😫 Because how can anyone call a super healing blood person weak or useless. Many of them want her to be truly useless or evil. From what I’ve gathered and what you said her core frame is not that. Oh well, I’m just here to enjoy a drama not come on this page to see character hate and non existent CP wars. 😭

Yes they love them. Because Leo and Jelly redid the first episode scene of the lifting veil. But it was the hair brush an eye contact both had. Both was smiling an blushing lol 😆 so netizens said CP and thought it was the sugar and sweet. They even want a second collaboration in a romantic drama set. MDL is different as you got many BL which I am not a BL fan never have been. So you will see them constantly bickering then you have Jelly haters (Also my name isn’t for the actress but the jelly cat jelly bean) so one called me a jelly Stan. Which if I like a certain actress I guess I’ll be a Stan but she’s not even in my top 3 let along top 5. She’s in my top 10 but she’s a really good actress. If they won’t fighter type A shei go check out Fights Breake Sphere with Leo Wu or A dream of Splendor with Li Yifei. The girl can act. This drama isn’t meant to be romantic but it will give you that sugar in certain moments with every character. For me her kissing him to feed the blood makes sense like you said. Also where she gonna get the knife? She also didn’t have time to use a hair pin either. Let along alert the enemy of her plans. I just find the hate pointless. But many on TikTok and Weibo love her. You have some on TikTok who hate her but overall this none CP is trending. I even have Weibo little videos of future scenes someone in the supergroup shared of the two. They fit a typical CP drama type. So netizens like it. Each their own though I’m just enjoying watching the drama every part. I don’t fast forward on Miss Zhong, the baddies, the monk, none of that. I watch everything and I take in everything because fast forwarding a secene because you hate a particular character will have you missing the point and th plot. Which is why a lot of them are funny to me. You’re missing the plot and the point as to why she’s important to the journey.

I actually like that she reminds me Mo Caihuan from TIA who also was hated on. Ashui is not weak but heals him with her blood and eases his mind. Yeah they are. I say let them have it. it doesn’t harm me nor anyone else lol if they trend. I’m loving this drama the way it is but yes the only one I hate is that damn sword king and yes maybe Liu Yan. wuxia, fantasy, mysterious identity, different beings, bromance, sismance, friendship, journey all the good stuff a drama can possibly have. This drama is doing really well in China and overseas. It’s just about preference for people over here. If you’re solely looking for romance this isn’t the drama for you. Yes, he will meet women and some might fawn or like him but it will not be the same for him. Think of this as TIA but hardcore. I suggest giving the drama chance spite the no romance tag. You might actually enjoy it. OsT main one No Spring Breeze, No you. Or another name for it “”Without the spring breeze, I would not have met you.” It’s lovely then there’s another one “Always”, “Ballad to the Breeze” , Shattered sounds of spring” etc.

it probably is. who knows. I think the drama is good where it’s at. I just know from that scene and a few others each woman will fall for him. But he will not be move. From what I can see. As his only focus is his journey and his past, his debts and future.

no one unless you count everyone he comes across. lol he’s going on a journey an fostering bonds with everyone he meets. so no love interest. As this drama isn’t about romance. Though you got women fawning over him lol so I guess that’s some one sided romance there. Hope this helps.

same lol TikTok is already attacking poor jelly and this non cannon CP lol 😂 even though many love this non CP some don’t from the TTEOTM pairing. But hey to each their own. I love my pairing from TTEOTM. But can appreciate his next pairing in his other dramas.

Ugh it is 10:57am in Japan am I have 8 hours to go for today’s episode. please hurry up. I don’t know how many times I have rewatch this drama since airing. The fights, ost, costumes and CGI is just freaking amazing. I’m truly surprised by Mango tv. I never watch this type of drama on their platform but they have surprised me.

thank gosh I’m not the only one. I was scared to even mention it. As I’m a big fan of that drama and that’s my second Leo pairing. Yang Zi being first an Yukee Chan being third. So I don’t want to step on any toes. I think someone said the director or costume designer or both are from TTEOTM. lol 😆 which makes sense now with Ashui clothing

yep unless they replace the ml but only if the company an platform agrees this drama is worth saving will they give it another try. can only hope
