Who rules the world could have been that drama. The premise! In the novel was it described how they met for the…
So many disappointing choices for WRTW that I was just angry watching it and had to pretend it wasn't apart of the novel at all It really should've been adapted well.
I enjoyed both part 1 and 2 of LLTG but I enjoy that pace but I can your points. I also thing as much as I like the actor, at times it did feel he was too young. However I don't really see any other actor that could've done that role to physical requirements as well as him.
The main question is whether there are any Chinese drama adaptations of novels that are far superior to the novels…
It is often different to outmatch the novel so I think matching it with changes gives a good leg up. And yes, Chiense drama strictness has always been a hinderance!
Wu Lei mentioned this scene (carriage) during one of his interviews. He said that his character was learning to…
Oh I know. Both have a lot to learn from the other. CSS will soften once she understand that LBY's feelings for her are true and she develops feelings back. She doesn't truly like LBY as of yet.
NOW this is what happens when an overbearing powerful male lead attempts to be light-hearted to appear less scary and forceful to the female lead HAHAHHAHAHA That dinner scene, oh my god! I fucking love LBY because he is making an effort but BITCH should listen FIRST. Still, much better than MOST male leads with this archetype. The scene in the carriage though, where he basically doesn't her she can't eat her food. I was ready to slap a bitch. You see? That folks is what CSS was afraid of. She told his ass, but he doesn't get it. She wants to live as herself. Not an attachment of or extension of LBY. That is why she liked Yao. They can exist as themselves, sure it was a friendship but it was more equal compared to her with LBY. Hopefully, LBY begins to understand. This is historical. I just hope they don't push for the wrong narrative.
Yo! I want Mama Cheng from the books! She was fun and sweet, and showed CSS that she loved her while teaching her. What the fuck is this? I get her but even a mother in that time period WOULD not of (1) disobey the emperor (2) scandalous ruined her own's daughter's reputation which was already shit thanks to the engagement breaking off. Like seriously Mama cheng? You went THAT deep with it? Shit like that coming from your mother is confirmation that your daughter is AWFUL and no one should marry her. Are you stupid? Declining it because she is young and just broker off her engagement would've been an better excuse and more reasonable.
