Additionally, what would SJ motive then be for killing SW and the heir? If he did not want that position, then killing them wouldn't be something he would do. His motives had to be to strike first before unwanted information gets leaked out about him and what he does in Jianghu. Unless there is a revenge he is seeking that we are unware of that is related to his mother?

Yeah the accounts for that night are not easy to read. Wuji could've lied because if she revealed too much, SJ would consider her next on his list. Also, the Elders had a report about that night from the guards? Which stated that Wuji was the last to see both of them? I need to reveal the episode again!

After epi 11, Wuji may be the next person to die which would open some more questions up. If Wuji doesn't die and another elder or person does, that will keep us in the mystery lane of trying to figure things out.

Interesting point. But then he wouldn't go after Zi Yu if that was the case unless he wants everyone to believe he cares about the SW position. SW Hongyu was discussing how outstanding SJ is and appeared to feel bad that he did not choose him and passed over him. Which is also odd. I know the elders talked about having a heart, but that still seems a bit stupid if SJ would in fact a good fit.

I think SW Hongyu was going to order SJ to remain in the residence and no longer go outside because the elders are wearer of SJ. Hence him being apologetic as well.

SJ would definitely not want that if he in fact has his own plans.

We are nearly half way done with the drama, I am really hoping they don't cram everything in. It would be too much of a headache. Also, this episode represented a shift. Shang Jue is no longer playing by the rules, he will do whatever it takes. I'm now curious about his past as well. Why he pushed himself so hard to be perfect. It must have something to do with his mother.

Lets keep count of the mystery that need to be solved:
1. Zi Yu's true identity need to be verified
2. Anonymous's identity
3. The Wu Feng assassin that lived for over 20 years (I don't think Anonymous and Assassin are the same person)
4. Who spread that rumor about Zi Yu being a bastard?
5. How Yun Que (Wei Shan's sister) died and is related to Master Yue?
6. Exactly what is Shang Qian's mission? It can't be to just make Shang Jue fall for her? Wufeng considered it top priority.
7. That whole object that Wufeng wants from Gong family and why?

perhaps there are more questions, but these are the major ones for me.

Definitely doggy, but I suspect the former Sword Wielder wanted to say something to Shang Jue that Shang Jue clearly did not want to hear. I am assuming that the Elders already knew what that was and already knew that the former Sword Wielder's wish for Zi Yu to lead after him. It could be that the Elders don't want to account everything because they are being cautious about what gets out which explains why another Elder had to die or was also killed.

OOO, good catch! It looked like an Elder because of the white/grey with black robe to me! It was also weird that Shang Jue looked suspicious when hearing that Zheng Nanyi is form the Zheng family as if they are related to him somehow.
