I would be adult in the room yelling "he deserves every right to throw sharp knives and boiling oil at that woman!". I agree with you in that she's a very, very close second to the mom in "It's ok to not be ok".

I've never, ever hated a character as much as I do Ling Xiao's mom. I need blood pressure medicine after every scene.

I agree with Muna93 , it truly is one of the best Chinese dramas so far and definitely my favorite of 2020.

The actress who portrays her is brilliant but the character is as irritating as a pimple on the behind. Thankfully, she's just a catalyst for character development so her actual screen time is limited.

Steven has shown unbelievable talent in this drama. I saw him, briefly, in "Skate Into Love" but hated the fluffy writing, so I dropped. With this one, I'm in awe of his ability to portray every emotion his character goes through and make it look effortless.

The Thai version was my favorite as well.

Watching the children's interactions, I think Li Jian Jian always had feelings for Ling Xiao and He Zi Qiu and she displayed the typical brother system dynamic (and shout out to Stephen Zhang who plays his roll with brilliance). As far as a kiss, I think that kind of cements the first feeling towards each other, either with affection or the "i can't get far enough away" feeling.

I don't mind the ML and FL not ending up together but do it with the same pacing as it had in the first 20 episodes. This had the potential to be really, really good but it's like the car driving 80 miles an hour that slams on the breaks. Too abrupt and without closure.

I actually paid money to watch the end episodes of A Class of Her Own and it was mainly because of him. I've been a fan of his since Untouchable Lovers (and he was super young then). He seems to have an innate ability to light up a screen when he's in it.
