Just finished rating and writing reviews for the 8 episodes because of this.
Negative netizens are beyond my comprehension. If you don't like a drama, don't watch it....it's pretty simple. I have a friend and she can't watch it because there are dark themes and she likes rom-com's mostly. She doesn't trash it and say, "Oh, this is awful" but says it's not in her wheelhouse. I respect that to the max. But, to trash this baby without watching it? I just can't fathom....
Cons:The waiting time!!! The LAST episode!!!Missing KT, MY, ST, Jae-su, The CEO, The Asst., The head doctor, Joo-ri,…
For KDramas, Smoking Gun starring Seo In Guk looks pretty good but it's not out until November. I'm also filling in the days with C-Dramas between Saturday to Saturday. Have you watched "Joy to Life"? I loved the writing and acting in it, even though I'm waiting on a second season. I also enjoyed "Itaewon Class" on Netflix. I always like Park Seo Joon in just about anything but actress Kim Da Mi absolutely hit one out of the park with her role. Have you seen any of those?
The looks they give each other when one of them is not looking does weird things to my insides
We need to have a group fandom face-time when they are looking at one another. I would bet my life savings all of us would have the same look of "daaaammmmn".
Pros: 1- the acting, the acting and yeah, the acting. From the main cast down to the supporting rolls, every player in this drama nails their parts to the point I can't tell acting from immersion. 2- this is a story within a story. Fairy tales written by the female lead are intertwined with the characters. I've never witnessed writing as magical as this. 3- the story of each episode is like a slowly, methodical unwinding ball of yarn and I have yet to attempt a guess at what lies in the very center. 4- I'll never be able to watch the episode with Zombie Boy in it again. I sobbed like a 2 year old.
Cons: Not. One. Thing. This deserves a 10+ in ratings.

Thank you so much for the well wishes and you have no idea how much those words mean. I agree with you in the absolute brilliance of this show and when they read the Zombie Boy story, I sat watching with tears streaming. The need for comfort from a mother is such a powerful theme and every actor has nailed those moments depicted.

Thank you! My son is also autistic but not as severe as depicted in the drama. He's insightful, funny, can be annoyingly teenaged at times but there are days when I'm tired and need an hour or two. Kim Soo Hyun's facial expressions when interacting with his brother brought tears because no matter how tired, I try to keep my face from showing it and I'd never seen this accurately portrayed until now.
Dang it!!! Is this Sunday episode or what??? Saturday's episode is always my happy pill writer-nim!!!! lmao. The…
I am the single parent of a special needs child, so any scene with the mom and her sons absolutely nails my heart. With my child, there is the constant 24 hour a day worry of what happens to him if I'm not there. To watch this story arc gently unfold, it takes days to process the emotions, love, compassion and heartbreak. If this isn't the best drama or movie, then I'm not sure what could surpass.
I'm not a promoter of explicit scenes because I believe the fantasy is much more than the visual. I think this drama has me switching that train of thought. If there was anything explicit displayed in any of the sixteen episodes, I would die a very, very happy person.
