I'm 7 episodes in and wondering how I'm going to handle the loss after this drama done. You know how priceless a script and acting are when a song is mentioned, I put the drama on pause and google the meaning of the song. "My Darling Clementine" will never be the same...
Hello everyone! Both authors here! Below are some points that we were trying to make in the article along with…
I knew a little about the "no dating" policy for Kpop groups but really hadn't understood why. That being said, I thought your article was thought provoking and explanatory about both the music industry and the explosion of BL dramas that are either in pre-poduction or currently shooting in China. Thank you both for writing this and giving thought to the genre.
She was actually his love interest in "Untouchable Lovers" in part 2 of the drama. They were really a good comedic…
Her comedic timing is unbelievable. I love her as an actress and Xu Kai could sit and stare at a wall for hours and I'd be the first in line to buy the DVD.
It is an ending that makes sense but no, there is no happily ever after. I'm re-watching this drama for the 5th time right now and I truly hate sad endings. This unfolds methodically and with heartbreaking logic. If you're looking for lighthearted, definitely not this one. But, it's the best drama (both Chinese and Korean) that I've ever watched.
For this kind of feel, hotel del luna is definitely recommended, both badass female leads and great storytelling
I loved that drama as well and am re-watching episodes of it waiting for Saturday to roll around. I love, love and love more a strong female lead in a drama. One face slap to the FL by the ex-girlfriend / to be mother-in-law / family member / pedestrian having a bad day and I'm done watching.
I haven’t seen episode 6 yet. But I just am having such a hard time shipping Kang Tae and Moon Young. She’s…
I love differing opinions on this topic. It's refreshing. My take on the female lead is somewhat skewed and I see her, in the story, as the catalyst that reveals peoples motives. Because she is broken and to a certain extent, lacking empathy, she sees what's underneath a person's actions. I think she loves Moon Young but wants to free him from feeling captive to a brother's daily life. She sees the autistic brother as someone that needs to be treated as an individual. The "clinging nurse", well, I'm waiting for that reveal and kudos to the actress playing her because she makes a very sympathetic part somewhat corrosive. I love this drama because everyone has an individual take on each character and it makes me look forward to the message boards as much as the drama itself.
Kim Soo Hyun is such an amazing actor it blows my mind. The scene where his brother was beating him, his facial…
"The scene where the CEO said that he is her man, the facial expression".....I've watched that scene about 5 times to catch why I thought he was jealous. I know zero, zip about acting but it's like a micro expression movement on Kim Soo Hyun that conveys his thoughts towards the CEO. Brilliant acting.
LOL I thought I was the only one. I didn't love CL as much as everyone did but am obsessed with this one currently.…
Obsession = checking the message boards for everyone else's thoughts because I have 5 days, 36 hours, 42 minutes and 15 seconds until the next episode. Yep, count me in the "can't walk away from it" club.
I can not even begin to describe how much I am loving this drama. I feel like I'm strange because I couldn't make…
I didn't even start Crash Landing. This, on the other hand, was on my radar since being announced. Praising words do not come close to describing how good it is.
I love how among online communities like MDL its one of the highest rated, but apparently not doing so well in…
I just now googled the top airing shows for the first week of July and they are: Kkondae Intern, Memorials, Oh My Baby. I haven't watched the first two but the last one had some really cute moments followed by a lot of unnecessary fillers and weak plotline (definitely just my opinion only). "Hotel del Luna" was one of my favorites and this one reminds me so much of it in the ability to unwind a story in rich detail. Hopefully, it will pick up steam soon.
