Mostly Boring
the drama had a good start. At first I liked the story and I was so curious about a nice family drama, without screaming . I like profound, meaningful messages in dramas. I thought that will be the case here too. But as episodes fly I got bored, the character Hong Dae Yeong, as a Teen was unbearable, like a stalker, insistent and only considering what he was missing, he had no overview for his family wishes... it felt like a stalker, it was everywhere and not in a likeable way. Even with his daughter, for me was irritated, lack of boundaries, insisting. stalker. So many things that where not a good example for mental health and harmony. Hong Dae Yeong actor as an adult didn't have any chemistry with the FL.The FL character was so strange also... she was always understanding, calm and in a false way... she suppressed her emotions completely. but with her husband she was not understanding... the ML literally had to give up on his dream to be with the FL and his babies, he worked his ass off and was humiliated daily at work and everything she did was to nag him. the lack of communication was unbearable... and in the end I did not felt that they learn something from...
Did not like that the FL did not support ML dreams and encourage him in life.... instead she expect ML to support her to do everything for her and she did nothing for him ... like what the fuck... you have to support each-other, to communicate, to see if you can resolve the problems ... etc...
with every drama that I watch and and with my documentation of Korean family and relationship culture, i find out it's mega toxic.... live in a delusion, falsehood, comparison, discrimination, misogyny, control, invation of privacy, loss of boundaries...
I think I finish this for Lee Do Hyun, as I like him. Otherwise I would have given up long before the end.
The drama had also many good moments, some parts with good laugh but I will not lose my time to see this never again.

One-sided love and annoying FL character
I really like Lee Jun Ho in this drama and his role, Yi San, fabulos interpretation. I also really liked Lee Deok Hwa's performance. Very beautiful story that combines reality with fiction. The screenwriter did a spectaculor job. I feel so much sadness, compassion for Yi San and how much he loved her, but was alone in this one sided love. For me the FL character was soo annoying, she didn't love him, did not trust him. She is annoying, and her ambitions were just a fantasy in that world. She was smart but not inteligent. I feel that if she accepted from the begining his proposal all history was diffrent, as many liked her so much and the real life was diffrent in Joseon. Sometimes Lee SeYoung acting is soo fake... at the begining I like her character but with each episode I start to dislake her... I still like the drama, the funny moments, but the lovestory is heartbreaking. I recomanded but I will not rewatch.Was this review helpful to you?
Borring & chemistry is missing!
Just dropped after 2nd episode... boring... not intresting, chemistry is missing. .. did not like the FL at all... ML become so pathetic... is not my cup of tea. nothing profund, nothing catchy. sorryThe food inspired me to go to restaurant but thats it. Was so intrested to see the ML in a comedy but yap... the story and the same dramas... I can't...
I prefer re watch others series.

love is about staing togheter. SeOUL Healing!
Great writing, directing, acting. I recommend the drama to all that need healing and love. Healing is the highlight of this masterpiece.I loved how this story has ended. At the beginning is was so annoying the misunderstandings, lack of communication. Sometimes I don't understand this in Korean society, the victim and compromise your life pattern. But as the series evolve I so so much healing, openness in the family. I cried a lot, I healed myself too trough this story, and I realize how much work I did to in the last years to heal my childhood, my relationship with my family. I loved the last 3 episodes, including Rosa story that has a big part in healing narrative. The story is profound, meaningful,
I appreciate the double role of Park Bo Young. She did a great job. I think it was so hard to get in the both roles, to feel everything. To feel, and to stay with what is it inside without dissociate yourself, in nowadays, is so courage's, precious and you begin to empower yourself if you allow the feelings and become aware of suppuration, pain, numbness, mental blockages... I cried a lot but I find this series so precious for my heat.
I love also Park Jin Young character. he is so sweet, kind, innocent but he find his strength and remain loyal to his values. The way he acts, his eyes says so much, there something special about it. Honestly, loved their chemistry as well. I wanted tyo see more episodes with their happy life, getting life together.
And I loved to see Kim Sun Young, in a new character. I like her so much. Yeom Bun Hong, Ho Su's mother was one of my favorite character too. She had so much compassion, passion and her love for Hosu was so much beautiful

Red flags and emotional imature
I just gave it a try. Dropped after 6 episodes and 15 min form the 7th. The drama has a cute second funny and attractive couple.The theme is boring, ML and FL are super Red flags, imature and without emotional basics. Again, a drama with adults that are behaving like adolescents. I don't understand the screenwriter how mature is she, what is the purpose of this drama, how can an actor can play this?!?! They did not heart about growing up and make good example, inteligent, magnetic, visionary dramas?
What is wrong with kdramas in the last years and the examples of couples and lack of maturity... I wonder really what is a real behaviour in korea like adults?!?!

a beautiful frindship, good comunication and emoperment but confusing in rest ...
the green flag:his masculine side was a great example for woman, I loved every aspect... their communication was great... many relationships advises were very good, I loved that and was the motive for witch I choose to consciously continue not to be programmed trough subliminal messages and programs... Their friendship was so empowering, and I loved watching them grow in each other’s confidence. it was touching and make me watch till the end.
the red flag:
how confusing young people are... this series... a mix of feminine and masculine qualities will simply lead to more emotional, mental, physical, organizational confusion. it is unimaginable that this is an inspiration for new generations... here is another example of why they are on the verge of extinction as a nation. they think that everything is in a skirt or make up... life is more profound than this.
the acting cringe, without any chemistry, the mix of conceptions ... she is like screaming all the time when she's speaking... i cant believe that a girl like her will like like this... or even kiss like this in our days... like keep it so innocent, genuine and childish ... but very open to everything else... the sex scene was so empty without any profound message about making love... but we are contred on skirt, identy etc.. maybe is the time to learn to make love, to connect beyond to look at what life offers us to evolve and connect.
... is pity that everything else is confusing... we force and disconnect from nature... We strive to subliminally impose behaviors as natural and normal..

A new classic. Masterpice!
Is my first kdrama that I saw. And since than I rewhach it 3 times now. Both seasons. Is in my top 10/ 120. Huge diffrance between them, i think the first one is my favorite, but I also like the sexy Jung ku in next season. I love everything, so much simbolysm for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, chemestry between all characters, ost is amazing. Mu Deok was the Soul of the drama, she is a good actress. Jung uk was fabulos too. The story was dynamic and exciting through all 20 episodes. Really want to eat a honey biscuit. ♡♡♡ i give 9 to the story, as I wanted to see Mu Deok also in her power more than a master and a maid.Was this review helpful to you?
beautiful chemistry and a second chance at life with maturity and beautiful growth as a couple
I really liked this historical drama, balanced and strong. extraordinary chemistry, with a lot of maturity and healthy growth as a couple. I really liked Li Yun Rui, my first time sewing him and now is my favorite. In the last episode, finally saw half an episode in which it shows how they live a beautiful life, without drama and plot, a normal family life. the whole story was different from what we have seen so far, without too many intrigues, separations, reconciliations. is on the first place for me, the second is The double. I wished seeing Song Mo with long gray hair, was sooo magnetic. I recomand this with all my heart.Was this review helpful to you?
Inspiring
I really enjoyed, captivating and inspirational. Did not find any chemistry between Sae Ro Yi and Jo Yi Seo and I am happy that I did not fallow the negative review. I did not enjoy the Soo Ah character but in the and I like the finale. I loved the music and is my faavorite ost now. I realty enjoy the show.Was this review helpful to you?
FL is a skeleton bitch, 35 female behaving like 15.
I just drop this drama. So boring, the FL is soo annoying, she is such a bich, I can't stand her and she looks like a skeleton and is so hysterical. I can't stand this hypocritical innocence anymore. Korean women are portrayed as hysterical, childish, jealous, immature, in certain dramas. I wonder if it's the same in reality. Not a bit of emotional maturity. How can be a woman at 35 looking like skeleton and acting like a adolescent. I did not like that she purspufly invaded his privacy, his boundaries and making fun and was a bully. I also dont like that she is using his vulnerability to bully him.And also the grandmother is soo abusive, so much trauma is in this drama. I wonder what young people learn from this. A huge dislake for this. I wish to see in future dramas with unhealthy family behavior, how the caracter bilds his inner power, gain good boundaries, experience mental help like an inspiration how to overcome the trauma bonds with family and bilds his own good reality and choose a healthy path.
I am not curious was is next, asa I dont want to lootine anymore on these kind of dramas, there are also kdrama or Cdrama that are more marure, emotinal balanced and inspiring for good relationships.
Love the ML, Hyun Wook Choiand he is doing a good job at his age. I really like his acting and also his younger version, that actor also is so talented. So I I want to see Hyun Wook in a new mature drama.

Super funny. We are getting spicy
Super fun, cute, relaxing, intresting, positive.I love FL, she is beautiful, creative, cute and I like her acting.
I oveeee ML, he's also so handsome. They both have great skills and charisma. The way that he look at her was so sensual.
The first 2 episode are good, can't wait to see what will be next. I have to make me a cocktail. Hahahha I even rewatched some of the scenes as were so beautiful and creativeand I'm waiting for there spicy night. I like the positive vibe and I hope to see it till the end. We need funny and creative new dramas.
I will write more, after I watch the episodes.

Drama for how to act like a imature "woman" thinking you ar a lawyer
FL behaving like a little girl, immature, dumb, people pleasing. Do people really find young adult women acting like a little girl, cute? Is this a Asia thing.I saw this in so many dramas.... I wonder when they become women. Wonder this is really happens in real life???
the way she talks, acts and even walk sometimes is soooo cringe.... the first scene at the office acting like a girl leaving the job as she start crying that the boss was angry at her.... you do this in high school not as a lawyer, not at the office, not as a mature woman.
I don't understand why China and Korea treat women, encourage the FL character to behave like this. Men's like this? It is normal?
Young people learn what from a character like this?
How a man can like or have sex with a woman behaving like a child. She even look like a adolescent. Is like a pedophile consciousness. Cringe....
... she did not deserve him, the ML. In real life a grown man will never choose a girl... imagine you go with a "child" as your partner at a cocktail party with all the CEO from the company's you work for...disgusting...
The drama had potential... I would have liked it if it was a grown woman character. It would have been be so different and so catchy.
I remember Donna, from The Suits. It was amazing character. Intelligent, beautiful.
And how can a business CEO can work or hire a lawyer like her.... I would never give my case to a girl. In what fantasy the writer is living. Is that really the real life in China?
and I can also say that the screenwriter has few mental problems, I think he cant handle powerful, smart, ADULT intelligent WOMEN . ... all women except the main role are treated badly by men, and behave dumb.
What a waste of time and resources. It could have been a very good drama. I like the ML.
Even if is a drama.... I think this is made for people under 15 creating a immature future, inspiration, toxic point a view.

Masterpice acting from JCW
I love the development of Tae Jung carachter till the end. The acting was masterpiece from JCW and DKS is a promising actor. He has good taste for villains.I watch this for JCW. He is so handsome and very talented. Hope to see him also in others genre of dramas.
Although, did not remain with nothing after. No insight, no learning, nothing emotional just fights and adrenaline, and the taste of revenge. What was the point ... i will never rematch because for me it was to much violence, and once is enough.
Wonder if people who like this kind of dramas see trough the lines see beyond the "movie" and understand that this is happening in real life too, maybe worse. I gave this high note just for acting.

Spark missing & FL acting cringe and exagerate
I just watched the first 2 episode. Was so boring, nothing intresting, nothing new or inspiring.Why is it successful? Because it's cheap commercial comedy, for people who don't need much, or to use their head, creativity, curiosity for more. Is a simple stupid kdrama. In the last 2 years they've lost their spark on doing great or good dramas. Once again it is demonstrated that what is successful does not mean it is also good or profound or inspirational. There are many underrated kdrama, but few people with artistic preference and knowledge, or out of the box, beyond imature behaviour.
Yoon A is cute as a woman, but as a actor is mediocre. You dont see any emotion on her face, does not express any feelings in her acting, is flat. She is the same in every drama. Here you will not find any difference in acting she is like in King the land
In the first episode the FL was cute, but acting like stupid, and also unrealistic even for a fantasy drama. The FL character is annoying, the comedy is so cringe.
However I like the ML acting...
Sorry... I don't know if I will continue. If you will want to give it a try I recommend you to order korean food, a lot of food.
And I would have loved to see Park Sung Hoon in the new drama " The Tyrant's Chef " . He would have been super attractive, seductive, present. He would have been epic as a man and as a power and acting talent. Or maybe it's better, that ML is not that talented and deep as an actress. We will never know.
Korean society is very bad at the chancellery. They are obsessed with control, image, the eyes of the world because they are not connected to them, there is a lot of lack of deep connection and emotional and mental maturity in this society...at least from what I observe in the world of kdrama Kpop.

I am at the 4rd episode. I don't like FL character. Is so strange, stupid, like a psyco. She is behaving like a spoiled teenager who has no contact with real life, like I cant believe that a woman will act like that and put herself in danger situation and put him also in the same spot .... she is so stupid ( for example he is in a entourage of gangsters and she tells him let go I'll protect you... wtf?!! a movie for teenagers who don't yet have developed emotional intelligence. )... and with sexual desires of a grown woman of course... this is so toxic. The music sometimes is like in a sexual movie... a mix of things. A lost opportunity of a good drama. Yes, I get it. Some people like superficial and toxic dramas.
I wonder what is in the head of an actress to play a role like this at 29 after so many others dramas.
Yes, it's not my kind of tea, but I wished to have a good drama to watch.
I cant understand the Chinese women in dramas... Woman child archetype is the real thing there... this mental and emotional state is scares me... like what will be the future of relationships and life.
I like a lot the ML, and also his acting. His character is mature, present. I wished he had a grown partner and a spoiled adolescent. Next drama.
