started magnific but become a childish bad comedy
when a woman doesn't trust her man, she disempowers him, castrates him.This was beautiful for me at the beginning... but... yap the same shit, patterns over again. Slowly feeling so disappointed. I' m at 27th episode. She become so entitled, total unrealistic. Love the characters, the chemistry , the acting, it is a great crew , but...
She is powerful but if you see deeply she disempower her husband, the army, the leader. I did not like this at all. It became a bad childish comedy.
What she did for him in episode 26, like sedating him, "out of love and care" that's fake love. It is attachment, it is a subtle inversion of roles that mimics love. It is the greatest trap of disempowerment.
Ooo, she, weighing 40 kg, fought a 120 kg barbarian and won... I'm laughing so hard at this... Superwoman.
ohh and of course she discovers who he is and here we go again... she is upset, run from him... I am so fucking tired of this kind of script... as in Love between Lines (this moment ruining for me everything also)
in all honesty, i completely believed in her strong feminine character, it was a great example for me at the beginning... but she started to disappoint me a lot...
from 10 it drops slightly to 7, for me.
I will still watching but not with the same enthusiasm as at the beginning.

Mostly Boring
the drama had a good start. At first I liked the story and I was so curious about a nice family drama, without screaming . I like profound, meaningful messages in dramas. I thought that will be the case here too. But as episodes fly I got bored, the character Hong Dae Yeong, as a Teen was unbearable, like a stalker, insistent and only considering what he was missing, he had no overview for his family wishes... it felt like a stalker, it was everywhere and not in a likeable way. Even with his daughter, for me was irritated, lack of boundaries, insisting. stalker. So many things that where not a good example for mental health and harmony. Hong Dae Yeong actor as an adult didn't have any chemistry with the FL.The FL character was so strange also... she was always understanding, calm and in a false way... she suppressed her emotions completely. but with her husband she was not understanding... the ML literally had to give up on his dream to be with the FL and his babies, he worked his ass off and was humiliated daily at work and everything she did was to nag him. the lack of communication was unbearable... and in the end I did not felt that they learn something from...
Did not like that the FL did not support ML dreams and encourage him in life.... instead she expect ML to support her to do everything for her and she did nothing for him ... like what the fuck... you have to support each-other, to communicate, to see if you can resolve the problems ... etc...
with every drama that I watch and and with my documentation of Korean family and relationship culture, i find out it's mega toxic.... live in a delusion, falsehood, comparison, discrimination, misogyny, control, invation of privacy, loss of boundaries...
I think I finish this for Lee Do Hyun, as I like him. Otherwise I would have given up long before the end.
The drama had also many good moments, some parts with good laugh but I will not lose my time to see this never again.

Super cute and adorable chemistry
Second time I watched this cute drama and and I really enjoyed. I loved ML, is the heart of the series. He is a excellent actor and has a beautiful smile. I did not get bored at all, so much happening, drama, comedy, art, thriller, crime and great messages. I enjoyed the dance between ML masculinity and FL femininity. If you want to watch a romantic drama with depth and charm, this one is a must. Emotional support, mature behavior, a good example of a good relationship. A healthy and inspiring drama. a good example to be a father and to choose family. The power of your choice guides you on the way to connection and union.Love can heal everything.

Lovely, diffrent kdrama.
I really loved it, one of the most beautiful, funny, emotional, pure dramas I've seen. it touched my heart . Magical soundtrack. Finally, I saw a supportive, loving family, who support each other with gentleness, attention, love, I liked them very much, without crises and yelling as we are used to. they touched on sensitive subjects, including this immense discrimination that I see in Korean society, but led to understanding, transformation. The reality of broken family and the meaning of Love in a Family
half of the characters don't have mothers. the others half, have mothers and they are so freaking controlling and toxic, poisonous characters. Girls at 25-26 act like they are 12 years old, and they don't have an answer, a decision , fight back against crazy mothers. Castrated men. Men who have nathing to say. Men who are just there, without any kind of masculine energy and inspiration for their sons.what is this drama trying to prove or inspire?!?!
I feel like I'm dying of boredom by episode 24, and this dull female perspective doesn't inspire me. It scares me. It saddens me.
Ling Xiao mother was a great example of a narcissistic, huge mental problems. As a child if you want to have a healthy life you have to end everything otherwise your life will be hell.
Mental health, toxic family, luck of boundaries.
Harmony and loving family, is yhe way to be open and able to live your life.
It has also cuteness, comedy moments but it was sad to see how children take aduls responsibility and they have to be responsible for the parants that treat them bad to glorify the image of family.
I hope people's watching this to learn and become aware of their mental health, emotional health and to have string boundaries even in the family.

If you stop at 10th episode is super cute
This series is so beautiful if you stop after 10th episode. The last 2 episodes are like from a diffrent drama, did not match with anything before.... scarry, stupidity 10/10 it ruined all the beauty, connection, romance build before. Like they have hired another writer but was the warst writer on Earth.The writer completely erased their personality and maturity, their sensuality, their previous connection and turned them into puppets. It was so hard to follow until the end. Grotesque.

the most toxic drama I've ever seen.Rich people who wear the same pair of shoes from the first to the last episode, FL & ML had the same clothing and accessories throughout the whole drama. hahahahah it's hilarious
FL with serious mental problems, victim consciousness. I'm starting to doubt myself and see the dark side of Chinese culture, dramas and that people are not at all emotional and mental intelligence.
It's mind-boggling how this drama has such a high rating and people give it such high ratings.
Yes, interesting, many kisses per square meter. Sensual but aggressive, with REPE tendencies, and that's it.
How can he like ML stay with such a woman... a healthy love will never have this value.
She's emotionally intelligent. And all those who praise her will be people in future generations... it makes me shudder at what relationships in movies have come to... so-called inspirational relationships...
the producers focused on making the success about sex, kissing, fantasies... that there was nothing else...

Masterpice acting from JCW
I love the development of Tae Jung carachter till the end. The acting was masterpiece from JCW and DKS is a promising actor. He has good taste for villains.I watch this for JCW. He is so handsome and very talented. Hope to see him also in others genre of dramas.
Although, did not remain with nothing after. No insight, no learning, nothing emotional just fights and adrenaline, and the taste of revenge. What was the point ... i will never rematch because for me it was to much violence, and once is enough.
Wonder if people who like this kind of dramas see trough the lines see beyond the "movie" and understand that this is happening in real life too, maybe worse. I gave this high note just for acting.

One-sided love and annoying FL character
I really like Lee Jun Ho in this drama and his role, Yi San, fabulos interpretation. I also really liked Lee Deok Hwa's performance. Very beautiful story that combines reality with fiction. The screenwriter did a spectaculor job. I feel so much sadness, compassion for Yi San and how much he loved her, but was alone in this one sided love. For me the FL character was soo annoying, she didn't love him, did not trust him. She is annoying, and her ambitions were just a fantasy in that world. She was smart but not inteligent. I feel that if she accepted from the begining his proposal all history was diffrent, as many liked her so much and the real life was diffrent in Joseon. Sometimes Lee SeYoung acting is soo fake... at the begining I like her character but with each episode I start to dislake her... I still like the drama, the funny moments, but the lovestory is heartbreaking. I recomanded but I will not rewatch.Was this review helpful to you?
The same annoying story
I'm so tired of this story, when the girl finds that ML father was involved in a accident and broke up. WTF HAS TO DO THE FHATER MISTAKE WITH HIS SON... her reactions was like he killed someone. So disappointing of her ...I was ready for a clean 10.
I was happy to see finally a FL mature, direct and smart in Chinese drama... but this...
I cant stand her parents. Her behavior was terrible in 23-24.

Cant stand the SFL, she looks like she is on drugs all the time, like she is dead, and the stepbrother was cute in a way but awful...
hope one day to see a beautiful, mature drama with healthy mental and emotional behavior and new innovative story.

I'm glad it wasn't among my first dramas, because I don't think I would have watched any of them and I would have missed other wonderful stories.
I really liked the connection of the second couple. their relationship is more meaningful than main leads had.
I liked the bromance and comedy between doctors/comrades.
I really liked ML, the actor and the character that he played.
But I continued with a lump in my throat because I couldn't stand the FL character. This actress, apart from being beautiful, didn't convey anything to me, she's dull, she doesn't have expressions, it's quite rigid, stiff. For me she is playing the same in any dramas. Is not at all my cup of tea. Her character is mean, she's acting like she owns and knows everything. I did not like at all how she treats ML, she disempower him, she plays with him, like she is in high school. She is emotionally immature, a bitch.
The OST is great.
I just continue watching for Song Joong Ki and the second couple. But It was my first when I fast foreword the moment with the FL. ups.
I cant feel to recommend this one. Sorry.

Borring & chemistry is missing!
Just dropped after 2nd episode... boring... not intresting, chemistry is missing. .. did not like the FL at all... ML become so pathetic... is not my cup of tea. nothing profund, nothing catchy. sorryThe food inspired me to go to restaurant but thats it. Was so intrested to see the ML in a comedy but yap... the story and the same dramas... I can't...
I prefer re watch others series.

Great writing, directing, acting. I recommend the drama to all that need healing and love. Healing is the highlight of this masterpiece.I loved how this story has ended. At the beginning is was so annoying the misunderstandings, lack of communication. Sometimes I don't understand this in Korean society, the victim and compromise your life pattern. But as the series evolve I so so much healing, openness in the family. I cried a lot, I healed myself too trough this story, and I realize how much work I did to in the last years to heal my childhood, my relationship with my family. I loved the last 3 episodes, including Rosa story that has a big part in healing narrative. The story is profound, meaningful,
I appreciate the double role of Park Bo Young. She did a great job. I think it was so hard to get in the both roles, to feel everything. To feel, and to stay with what is it inside without dissociate yourself, in nowadays, is so courage's, precious and you begin to empower yourself if you allow the feelings and become aware of suppuration, pain, numbness, mental blockages... I cried a lot but I find this series so precious for my heat.
I love also Park Jin Young character. he is so sweet, kind, innocent but he find his strength and remain loyal to his values. The way he acts, his eyes says so much, there something special about it. Honestly, loved their chemistry as well. I wanted tyo see more episodes with their happy life, getting life together.
And I loved to see Kim Sun Young, in a new character. I like her so much. Yeom Bun Hong, Ho Su's mother was one of my favorite character too. She had so much compassion, passion and her love for Hosu was so much beautiful

Red flags and emotional imature
I just gave it a try. Dropped after 6 episodes and 15 min form the 7th. The drama has a cute second funny and attractive couple.The theme is boring, ML and FL are super Red flags, imature and without emotional basics. Again, a drama with adults that are behaving like adolescents. I don't understand the screenwriter how mature is she, what is the purpose of this drama, how can an actor can play this?!?! They did not heart about growing up and make good example, inteligent, magnetic, visionary dramas?
What is wrong with kdramas in the last years and the examples of couples and lack of maturity... I wonder really what is a real behaviour in korea like adults?!?!
