We finally got our first kiss of the series...at ep 6?! Well, as long as it's progressing smoothly now and not just turning in circles as it has been up to now, I'm happy
I asked this on another BL page, but I only got a few comments and now the question is pretty buried so I thought…
I saw you didn't get an answer here either, so I thought I'm gonna write here :) I don't normally watch any reactors because a lot of the ones I did watch were over the top, so all you heard was screaming, but if you know any good ones and interesting ones, please recommend ^.^
This week's episode mostly excited people because of Pete telling Non where he can go with his advances toward Kao and because of the preview for next week, I guess....
Just as a reminder since there is no spoiler tag in YT or other forums, just on MDL: I just noticed that a lot of people watching the show have actually read the novel. Please, to all my fellow novel readers, let's try to keep everything as spoiler-free as possible, especially since so many seem to have actually read it ^.^ let's let newcomers to UWMA enjoy the story fresh and from the beginning!
Man I don't want to hate Type but from ep. 6 trailer... Idk it's always annoying when a girl has to be added in…
But I think it's a little bit different this time because Type already has something with Tharn, even if he doesn't want to admit it. He already kissed him back so he's not totally in denial I guess. Also I'm still hopeful for episode 6 since the trailer for episode 5 looked dramatic too o.O
This series is such a gem but so much drama right ahead of us... Also while I don't like the girl interfering with TharnType I have to say: Smoo~th girl, real smooth ^.^
Episode 4 proved that Tharn is able to learn from his mistakes and I loved how there weren't any forced touching scenes anymore but they highlighted that Tharn was simply talking to Type this time. Also the fact that they went into the backstory before the two got closer is really good and more natural. The chemistry in general is great. It's neither overwhelming like in some other shows, nor is it lacking in any way. It is natural, smooth and getting better each episode. No one can say this is the usual development in BL shows though. Sex friends? Don't see that often.
Okay, let me be honest here. I totally understand being called swear words for your sexual orientation is wrong and absolutely despicable so I think Type should totally apologize for acting that way but in that situation I can also understand Type getting angry. I mean if you don't want to be insulted, don't just start grabbing at someone who clearly doesn't want to and afterwards outing them on social media? I think the whole situation is full of bad decisions but I think it's interesting they included a confrontation like this...definitely makes you think... Also what the hell is up with next week's preview XD XD I have to say, I'm kinda enjoying this series so far. It has good chemistry, nice production quality and also tackles some serious topics.
Even I have to admit that this series is taken a big risk with a few of their scenes and bordering on being highly inappropriate... but also I have to say, I kind of understand both sides of the argument. Type has a serious childhood trauma that cannot be taken lightly at all and I understand why he tries to stay away from Tharn and get rid of him. Tharn on the other hand is constantly being hated and insulted by his room mate who he thought he was getting along with. Of course, there'll be a point where he snaps.
So in the end I think both sides have their reasons and the show is mostly about them misunderstanding and not knowing each other well enough to look out for the other person but judging from episode 1 and 2 as well as the preview scenes and OST video I do have the feeling they'll figure each other out and understand the other over time. The chemistry and acting is going quite well so far, I have to say.
They were friends in 'my dear loser: edge of 17' and 'senior secret love: my lil boy s2' already ^^ (just informing…
Ah yes, now I remember!!! Thanks for reminding me ^.^ now I feel bad for forgetting but they have acted in so many shows, especially with The Gifted being such a heavy show, I totally forgot about them acting together there too. There characters were so different o.O
He's only turning 19 this year and has already acted in so many different shows...wow...just imagine how much scrolling we'll have to do in a few years? I hope he continues this way and shows us even more of his acting. He is such a gem!
