In all fairness, I give it to the show for giving Erxi some serious character development and changing her into one of the best characters near the end. Now I can finally like this cute dumpling too ^.^
This series started out kinda average and boring and got better later on around ep 15. But I'm seriously getting annoyed at Erxi. I know she means well but she's so inconsiderate and mostly screws up in her "goodwill".
This series is so predictable, it's unpredictable. It's inhabiting all the villain tropes and just when you think "ah so that's where they are going" they are doing a 180 and use a different one... Depending on the ending, I'm gonna decide if all this chasing around is worth it.
I like the synopsis of this drama and the production and I admit that I'm not very far in yet but to be honest, I really dislike Robin. I hate it when someone just pushes their will onto someone else.
Idk about the others but all I can is that after a while I realized that she's just too "matter of fact" of a…
I just think she isn't over the top like other female leads or too crazy/naive/know-it-all as some FLs in other dramas, so I can relate to her a lot more than to other females in dramas. She seems a lot more like a "real life" character than all those "let me kick you to the stars" badass female leads we sometimes get that seem so highly ridiculous or over the top, so I'm enjoying her a lot right now. I do understand that compared to the other characters and the supernatural setting in Memorist, she does seem kinda bland. So for me the character itself is great, the character balance of the drama - not so much. But I'm enjoying it since she does bring some fresh air!
I don't get why so many people dislike Han Sun Mi. Because she does not have any romance with Dong Baek? Because there is no witty banter between her and the ML? I'm enjoying her character so far. She seems so realistic. Except for the running in heels, no one does that.
I really love the vibe of this drama since it's different from what we get usually. I do think the reason Jaesun left Solah is a big misunderstanding because he thought she left Hong Jo on his own when she didn't but he just had her scarf...But the series is so nice to watch!
I know I'm only at episode 1 but I'm totally going between loving and hating this drama right now. Never had so many different highs and lows in one episode...
Depending on the ending, I'm gonna decide if all this chasing around is worth it.
