I agree with the inconsistencies. Apparently they changed it to promote cyber security and make it more serious than "gaming". But I don't think the change was necessary.

Thanks for telling me about TKA. Unfortunately I didn't read the novel but it's interesting to know it was like that in the novel O.O maybe I'll read it now ;)

I thought so too! It angered me so much how they were always doing stuff as if playing games. If it was gaming they were doing, their keyboard action would've probably been pretty much perfect ^.^

I loved The King's Avatar but I agree with the free time part. If I have that much free time while doing my job, my new career dream is e-gamer ;)

Gank Your Heart is quite dramatic and at the same time fast paced so it could be too much. I would give it another chance and see, maybe you'll start liking it anyway.

I'm looking forward to them too. Ever since I got into this genre, I'm a lost cause I guess :D

I wasn't a big fan of Yang Yang in Love O2O either. But I think I disliked the character in general. In The King's Avatar it needs a little bit of warming up to the character to see his fun side I guess. I totally recommend watching GGS though, although it focuses a lot on the drama beside the e-sports as well.
Personally I think a lot of the drama in Gank Your Heart was over-dramatised to make it more interesting. But maybe that is just my opinion ;)

Out of these dramas the one most similar to Gank Your Heart is definitely Go Go Squid!. It has the romance/follow dreams mix you mentioned. Love O2O is a lot more romance focused while The King's Avatar is a lot more game/dream focused, so they go into either direction and I only recommend them depending on whether you would like either genre.

Well, it is really big on the romance and is definitely a growing show which means it kinda changes over time. If you like romance I totally recommend it.
What I really liked was the fact that the lead female was into the male lead and followed him but she did not force herself into his life like in some other shows. The chemistry is really good too ^.^

Good to know I'm not the only one. I'm at ep 6, she is getting a little better. But only a little, urgh

I don't get how so many viewers like Gyuri. I think she's the most unlikable character so far...

Exactly. It annoys me even more because she is not a bad person but wants to do good. But she should learn to listen.

I'm near the end and I'm getting seriously annoyed at the female lead. She is nice and kind and all but she never listens to others and just says what she wants and leaves it at that. So every time someone has something important to say...haaa

This series has way too many intros...really...I love it, but it's just too many....
