And yes if the FL had gotten together with the ZX it would have mirrored her parents’ relationship where she would have gotten exhausted dealing with his insecurities and inferiority complex. The FL is a lot like her mom - you can see that. God forbid if the woman is better than their husband- very few men can accept that . Gee how much ego massaging must have happened in that relationship! So exhausting. And I guess it was that inferiority and insecurity that drove the dad to cheat . I am glad that mom was strong enough to walk out with half the assets .

Both their moms are strong , smart women. We see why the ML ‘s character is so great . It’s because of that mom. Same with the FL she seems to have gotten her mom’s business acumen. The ML is actually nurturing that in her and she is growing . This is all so great to watch

The lesson is don’t put it out there regardless especially in a public place like that. I actually felt bad for the ML too

Don’t get me wrong. I love the cousin but gosh he has a big loud mouth. He should not have discussed his sister’s business in public like that in the cafe. That was totally unnecessary. It could have been a more private conversation .

He definitely wants her to be herself and be confident in general. He is not forcing her to be anything. He is being very honest with her too which helps a lot

The ML brings out her real personality while the SML just diminishes her into this person walking on eggshells. Literally suffocates her

If you noticed she also got pretty defensive about everything including what shoes she was wearing . Nothing of that sort with the ML .
