This one has a good start- watched 3 episodes. Both their parents are awful. They are both neglected and abused kids at this point who are trying to find their way in this mess. I am going to wait to rate it. But it’s definitely higher than this MDL rating

It was a little disjointed. And the final episodes were draggy when they were just crossing each other - which was ridiculous. If she has his number she could have called 🙄

lol! I am at the scene where Lin Yusen is looking at the lobster and he is going - I am trying to figure out how this thing is put together 😂😂😂. Seriously it is one of the best scenes in this drama

Well this was entertainment too . Here the fact that they could have a strong somewhat healthy relationship itself was a lot. Ye Li was very strong, and intelligent. She still wanted to live. And that itself was enough .

Like I have said before- this drama is not about love or romance. It is more about her accepting the traumatic past, healing and letting go so she can live a normal life . It was the same for the ML too. They were both wronged and pretty much went through hell. To me this was the most realistic portrayal of something like this. In other dramas they just skim through this stuff trivialize it. I am glad that they did not here. And I think their relationship was on point given everything they went through. So no I don’t think like you and don’t find this drama funny or lacking

Well I enjoyed the drama for what it was. It was unique and it was good. Much better than another run of the mill story and romance .

No one is apologizing for the scriptwriters . And you don’t have to defend other viewers. I am just stating my opinion here and I have the right to do so. Why would you be upset about it? This obsession with hot kisses and baths etc -as so called love- has gotten out of hand. I did not realize that people are so starved they have to get it like this. This is really not their cup of tea. Why watch it and complain. Drop it and move on

For everyone pining for ‘romance ‘ in this drama- this is not a romance drama. It is about two individuals who had extremely traumatic pasts- they come together and heal. And there is politics and revenge entwined in it. It was a beautiful drama that had a deep story and had brilliant performances from the leads . This drama needs to be appreciated for its impeccable story telling and powerful performances. Not for paltry romance.
