But to an extent all fiction has these these kinds of characters . When they make a male like this everyone will devour it and call him the ‘underdog’ who makes it and the the FL fallls in love with him But when it is a woman protagonist - they coined this word ‘Mary Sue’. There is a bit of a double standard here. Just because this word was coined you don’t get to toss it around freely. Because it sounds offensive and insulting to female centric stories in general .
