Honestly , at this point, you need to leave the novel alone and enjoy it for what it is. This is not helping anyone. I am not familiar with the novel but the drama has been done well. I don’t have complaints with it .

Well he had 3 dramas in a span of 6-8 months. He will probably take his time to decide what he wants to do next. Which is completely understandable. You don’t want to see one actor just churning dramas. They need a break and we need one too

The ending is so up in the air. I love the suspense. All bets are off about the drama ending- even if novel ending was what it was.

Thanks for the update. Now I may invest in the express myself. Yep there will be some breaking point where DX will have to use that sword . I have not watched 34-35 but I do get this feeling that He Simu might have just left Yan Ke alone for too long and is in over herself at this point .

There can be no ‘equal power’ between a supernatural being and a human being . They have actually dealt with it beautifully. He is strong by his own right but he will always be weak in front of the the ghost spirit Sovereign. That will always be the default: she is much stronger than him. There will not be a saving of damsel in distress or the ‘oh I am so strong’ egoistical rant from
the ML. This is not
that drama .
