Whatever he does for Bai Shuo is for himself- it is not for her . That is what bothers me. He just wants to own here. Actually if you think about it he is incapable of protecting her from any thing . They both would be dead in a jiffy. But in his mind he as to possess her that’s all. It’s a bad obsession
CZ past life is Mi Lo he's also a God like BS and FY. His fate is very intertwined with theirs.
I feel like he will be in perptual denial with regards to his feelings for Fu Ling and will torture himself and her. There will not be anything happy here given show tortured both CZ and Fu Ling are. I would be happy if he just leaves Bai Shuo alone LOL
Also ep 20 - I am so annoyed with Bai Shuo- she really does not care about her life. She fell right into Fu Ling’s hands at her weakest moment? I know nothing may happen- but still.
I thought they tied up what happened at the Outlanders city in the resentment realm to the events in the fox clan beautifully! Like there was a nice continuation. It did not feel disconnected at all

Oh my god! The Fu Ling needs to go. How much more evil can she be. She and the Cold Spring Palace care about nothing or anyone . There should be no redemption arc for her or Chong Zhao. They are just plain despicable
With these dramas you never know which way they will go till the end but the entire story is usually very satisfying . And as long as that is there I am fine. I also wished that TTEOM had the novel ending where. TTJ comes back fully especially given every thing he went through , but oh well!
