I don’t mind her voice but GEE !could they have made her character more pathetic? Why can’t they make a woman more assertive and self reliant. They have created another adult child here who is overly coddled by everyone. Why? She can’t even protect her career ugh! She needs hand holding for everything. Well I also blame those overly involved and so called protective parents. They don’t know how they are damaging her life by controlling her every move .

Well it’s the FL’s fault for not taking firm action. People will take advantage if you are passive and a borderline doormat . Which is the FL’s character . You pay the price for being naive and too nice. They should really stop writing characters like this - who don’t know how to protect themselves . Who can survive in life like this anymore ?

That would be so sad- honestly. If there was one thing she should be able to do is finish her education and have a future . She at least deserves that

I would not be surprised at all if Siyi gave up after all this. All she has had were misfortunes. Giving up, withdrawing and disappearing without a trace would all be courses of actions we can expect from her. She is still young and how much strength can she have without any support- her only pillar was grandma and now she is gone and all Siyi is left with is an irresponsible mom and a little kid to take care of. God knows what that mom is going to do with the money left for her tuition . So I would not be surprised if all of this drags her down. No one’s will is that iron clad. How can there be any motivation or positive reinforcement with this constant battering ?

Such stories always have a profound effect on you no matter where in the world they are based. That is for sure

Me too- I want to see major transformation for Feng Hua and a lot of growth and become wise. If Siyi regressed it will only because she has been constantly dragged down and has lost the will and self confidence . So I think Feng Hua’s self will and determination will get stronger because of her life experiences .and mistakes. With Siyi the constant bad stuff may drag her down. Let’s see

The difference between Siyi.and Feng Hua. Siyi is mature beyond her years while Feng Hua is still this naive kid . Feng Hua is going to have an extremely tough time in the real world outside this bubble she is in. She is definitely going to struggle .

I agree he’s a very impulsive person. He never thinks things through. I hope he grows out of this habit as he grows older. He totally deserved that slap from his mom. that cowboy attitude of his is going to get him in trouble.

It was really ridiculous tha Wang Hee’s parents had to pay such a high amount for that fiasco. The bad guy got away Scott free. But then it really was. Feng Hua’s mistake when she signed the contract and took the money. and I actually don’t like Feng Hua’s parents . they should have taken more responsibility for this

I agree. For me this one was a solid 9.5. I loved SOKP for its complexities and the story and acting but this one should not be compared with drama. They are so different and have different settings . The Best Thing was simple yet beautiful. Sometimes you just want something light and refreshing like this. Honestly we have had too many dramas where sometimes you wonder how can such fractured people have a relationship even. And that I would call unrealistic. But here the relationship was well balanced, their temperaments were well balanced and they complemented each other well. I think there were so many great things they showed about how a relationship should be. The characters were very mature . Sometimes that is all you need to make a great drama . Not everything has to be convoluted.
