Exactly my point - she never gave PWX a chance . Yes communication was a huge issue with them . But she pushed him away and kept SRQ close. What spouse would be okay with that . Even now she is the one two timing after getting married to PWX but blames everything on him.. pax is just a means to an end for her power trip.

I don’t think she was sure of her of her feelings for PWX and since she spent only like 3 yrs with him before - she is insecure . She actually spent way more time with Su and understands him better . Her issue is that she was never confident about PWX. She even looks down on him and always compares him to Su. Atleast now she knows that he loves her in an unconditional sort of way but she is not confident about the relationship from her side

I am only looking and individual character and they are both manipulative and controlling I never said the story and plot line or who they were is the same . Li Rong is very selfish, controlling, manipulative and power hungry. And she is trying to control everyone’s fate here
Ep 12 . When they show her thoughts- She was very conflicted in the past and it was clear that she had feelings for Su. But her feelings for the ML are still unclear. The ML was right in Ep 11 . She does not know what she wants. Communication and palace politics ere always a huge issue between them. But I think she did him wrong when she just shut the door on him and chose Su. And that is painful for him to watch even in this life. Their hunger for power and their ambitions probably drove them apart as well. Well she is in this limbo always because she only thinks from her perspective and her ‘royal’ family and what is good for them. The others are all dispensible. Until she starts to put herself in his shoes and starts caring for him I don’t think this equation will change because she has a lot of expectations from him but it is not clear what she is willing to do for that relationship

This has nothing to do with how someone one became a princess and no her character is on it similar to the FL in Thr Double. But the FL here has the same controlling nature that Bai Lu’s character did in SOKP .
