But that is the point - not every character needs to be good- it’s ok that they have shades we don’t like. The FL is full of red flags- that is her character and we are all waiting to see how she changes through this experience

He has been more than nice to her. He has gone out of his way to be there for her and yes she comes across as fake and cold towards him. She can’t even bring herself to declare that he is her boyfriend.

No I think Bai Lu is playing the character well- the point is not to be likeable or anything but make this character believable so the audience is invested and I think she is doing that beautiful job of that. And no I don’t think she is bland at all- the fact that we are following every single move of hers shows that

Agree. She needs a rude awakening . He has been patient for too long. The lying is definitely second nature for her. And she does not realize how much she is hurting him and she will hurt herself in the end. I am glad he actually got all the answers he needed from other people even though it is sad

The FL is a train wreck. In reality a person like Shi Yan will never put up with this kind of behavior. He will neither have the time nor the energy she is just too convoluted even for an ordinary guy

I agree - these episodes were good. Again this is all about the FL’s character. It seems like she still does not want to give up the lying and avoiding. The ML is too patient. Enough is enough. It’s obvious he does not trust her and she makes him feel very insecure. She is burning bridges big time. And that friend’s contrived shitty advice is going to be her death

I am frustrated to the point of breaking the tv LOL. After he did that much and she does not come clean then she doesn’t deserve him at all. She needs to be dumped unceremoniously- he should have done it at the wedding
