A second chance for this couple? NO WAY IN HELL

First of all - please do not compare this to the masterpiece Lighter and Princess . It is a huge insult to that drama and for Arthur Chen. There is no similarity period! And it should not be similar . Why would you expect that beautiful story to be repeated? That needs to be a standalone and stay that way for ever.

The only saving grace in this drama is Arthur Chen’a acting. He kept us engaged till the end. There was something off about the FL’s acting- either she did not get the character or just went by the script (as someone said here) - which means she did not get to extrapolate the character? The storytelling was an awful mess.
This was a complete miss- I’d only someone had paid attention to detail and really fleshed out both the business and romance then it would have been so much better. Instead we got a weak ML who could not take no for an answer and a cold, vindictive FL who was so self centered I honestly could not see the two together even after that belated clarification. This one was a lost cause. Even then that hurt after 6 yrs and blaming it on the ML was just plain ridiculous. The FL was just a shallow money grubber with no depth or nuances to her character . She was just on one track- career, money., her debts, her life. The ML lost all his self respect and dignity just by chasing her . This was very repulsive. There that is my review. I would not be torturing myself rewatching this one . The most unconvincing second chance that I have seen
