This was my most awaited series of the summer and episode 1 left me feeling like I sure hope it gets better. It seemed too fragmented and convoluted with too much explanation of the Omegaverse. I stopped counting after the third round of explaining. How could Phatsa have never had heard of the concept of “secondary sexes” having made it to adulthood? Also the music is so bad. I made me think how a title song can really set the tone for a series like Go Sign by Billy Laurant in Candy Color Paradox or I’m Sill In Love with You by Jake $ing from Top Form. Here is hoping for a smoother ride because Boat and Oat always deliver 💋and it’s a long hot 🔥summer.
Well this series started off with a bang 💥I am questioning why I like it when every logical part of my brain is screaming at me not to….. Desperately trying not to “turn gay” by begging your girlfriend to set. A drunk person saying kiss me so that’s ok because he asked. Towels that see more action than at a beach. I could go on.
Is it really that good? Should I give it a try? Someone convince me to tune in 😭
Hands down, the best series airing right now. It’s unpredictable, complex characters, compelling plot which unfolding beautifully like a lotus. It’s so good.
This series is an unexpected gift that keeps giving. I absolutely love how physical Kaji and Fukami are with each other and Fukami having the upper hand in the relationship is awesome. It would have been so typical to have made him a pathetic character.
Qin isn’t cold without reason. He constantly tests Duang because he is afraid. His innocence was betrayed in the worst possible way. Duang is the perfect partner. Every time, Qin pushes, he returns and says he loves him. Even when he is heartbroken at the possibility of his ex taking him away, Qin says come home and he does. Duang is the definition of steadfast, loyal and true. Which is why he is compared to a dog. He is exactly what Qin has been waiting for. His missing piece.
It’s mysterious and I am really wondering how this will unfold
how did this relationship start, why does he continue it despite feelings for his classmate, how can an older relationship continue with a junior person with no parental oversight or intervention. Basically what the F is going on its a f’ing mystery to me. Definition of mystery: something that is difficult or impossible to understand or explain.
What other series does it remind you of?
