I have resolved that this might end up with Jira and Ko in a complicated mess but I am ok with that. I have absolutely loved this series. I know 2026 just started but it’s my favourite of the year and it is rare for me to pick a GMCC production as a favourite. Off in particular has been incredible to watch…I cant take my damn eyes off him.

It is blatantly obvious Jimmy is the bad guy here and don’t get me wrong I think his character is annoying, but Toh has zero love for himself to know he’s been used and that I cant abide.

Episode 4 Could have been soooooo good. It started off promising and quickly turned into a dumpster fire of stupidity. The moment Toh overheard Jimmy’s betrayal and real purpose for getting him in the sack, I was thinking, “good he’s playing it calm and collected so he can burn his ass”, But instead he says “I’m going to make him love me!”
What the hell? !!!! How low does your self esteem result in your ass being used as a bargaining chip in some psycho’s game. I can’t identify with Toh, watching him be willingly used, while his brother is desperately trying to save him by giving up his own relationship. A reckoning better be coming!

Yes! Mawin is undoubtedly the most underrated and stable character of them all. Loyal and steadfast. He is unappreciated. Some speculate he is a romantic option for Pheem, but I don’t see it. I just see true and pure friendship. But I am unfamiliar with the novel.

It’s early in 2026 but wow has it set the pace…..

I hated every minute of Pheem during that scene so one would argue he was “good” at delivering…..but I hate his needy for love character. I also didn’t like the precipice of violence and Jira’s endurance. Gun played it perfectly and subtly. It could have been easy to over act. Either being too fearful or not enough. He was excellent.

I don’t think there will be a conventional or traditional love for Ko and Jira. Artistic temperaments make for non linear couples.

wow that whole smashing session was difficult but brilliant ….Pheem becomes more irritating every episode. He yells at and blames Jira …its you! your fault! you don’t love me!
why wont you draw me like Koh? And when Jira starts to draw Pheem the drawing is chaos, fury, needy, want and frustration ….black, red, and filled with energetic rage. Compare it with Ko’s paintings which are full of flowers, color, passion and beauty. Even Peem’s disrobing is not sexual or attractive but an act of desperation. Damn this series is art.

I am glad i watched this a second time. The first time, I felt it was disjointed and I didn’t connect with it. ,I am not sure why I liked it more on a second viewing. There were holes for sure in the story but i liked the performances. For a Korean BL which tends to be conservative on skinship it was more realistic.

Agreed. In real life he can be a goofball. Off Gun Fun Night for example but wow this series. Every time those dark sunglasses go on he means business. I am in love with how he is portraying this role. You have some empathy for him just a little bit but then….not. So delicious.

Off is next level. Major commitment on his part to his fitness - his body is crazy. His performance is excellent, Nothing Ive seen from him before. So good.
