God I'm in the middle of episode 7 and what did I witnesses ? They faked her death right in front of HIM ?! And…
God, it even become worse! They are holding a party for their "success". And the FL say "Did I go to far ?" and they are like "No! It's impossible that he loved her that much!". Girls! What's with their brains ? x)

You saw him being completely heartbroken & even self blaming. And even if he didn't love her, a living person died right in from of him... Like come on, everyone would say it's waaaaaaaaaay too much. I know I would be traumatized for life with thundercloud if anyone would pull such a prank on me. :x

God I'm in the middle of episode 7 and what did I witnesses ? They faked her death right in front of HIM ?! And a gruesome one at that ? Like, I'm 100% with them when they wanted him to move on but damn, this is just cruelty! Just say she move to another country or even, better, she suddenly married someone abroad. And if you really wanted her dead, you don't need to do it right in front of his face. Just say just died in an accident.

I hope they will be a twist because when he will know the truth, how can someone forgive that ? Oo

Is it not 6 years? Also, maybe cultures may be different but when a girl is even a year older than a boy, I don't…
It's also more relevant the younger you are. Like 18-24 isn't like 30-36 (or worst 14-20 >.<).

Mahn. K-dramas have given so many people an unrealistic pov about sex and purity culture in Korea. THEY DO BE…
I agree with the first part. But it's also true that in recent drama that subject is more explored in mainstream drama.

For the 2ML, while he didn't do "anything wrong", he wasn't all that innocent either. It's a common troop in Manga/Manhwa: A super popular ML that get a lot of love confession but cannot for X or Y reason said no to them. So they date them even if they have no real feeling. It's clearly the case for 2ML. Like, he speak about his break up like it's a regular Tuesday.

And of course, the plot is that he discover true love and his meaning with "the one & only" that made him do a 180*. :D

Title My Dearest Nemesis Spoiler
Oh wow the grandmother is horrible, to treat your only son son like that especially when he lost both his parents.…
Yeah, I get she was grieving but to blame the child is complete nonsense. Even if you had an emotional response at first and said those words, as an adult how could you still think that way even after 15-20y ?

Especially when Trunk-kun is the direct culprit. Like if you want to blame someone, the child isn't it.

And I will not talk about her worrying about the stock when her "dear son" died. I really hope they will not force a redemption arc for her... I just hate her and want her to have her karma back. :P

Well they are really hot individually but together ? It's a real feast. :O

Also I love how they conveniently both use her sleepwalking. Like it have been 8 or 9 months and it's only now she seek medical attention. Even the overprotective ML doesn't bother because hey... He got hugs, kiss & even a surprise sleepover. :P

So... I think this was already answered quite a few time but did we need to watch "Hidden Love" to understand this story ?

To be honest, I did watch "Hidden Love" but I'm having trouble remember it (and too lazy to rewatch it). All I could gather is that the ML in this was the FL's brother and ML's best friend. I don't remember at all him having a love interest (and I don't see Wen Yi Fan as a character in "Hidden Love" after checking).

I can of guess I could watch it without issue but I want to be sure. And if any info in the first drama is relevant to this one, could you share this in here ? Thanks in advance for any reply. <3

People have fantasy fetish.....that explains why shows that are close to reality are not really appreciated.....
And this one is close to reality ? Because, excuse me, no sane woman would went pregnant in space to begin with. The whole plot is a fantasy... From a sick mind if I would dare to add.

Like, WTF ? x)

I really hope it's just a long sarcastic rant.

When I saw the first 2 trailers and how Jianci always describe Tang Qi as jerk and scum, I thought it was because…
She is still way more confident with her SM persona. But as we view in the first minute of episode 1, she will gain this confidence even with she will be SCC.

I don't think she will need to be as "flamboyant" as SM, but I also don't think she choose those outfit as SCC because she is 100% fine with it. She is really insecure about her look and try to be as "bland" as possible to not stand out. Again, as you can see in the first minute, she gain more confidence and care about her outfit.

When I saw the first 2 trailers and how Jianci always describe Tang Qi as jerk and scum, I thought it was because…
But he isn't a scum for this. Every time he saw Su Miao, she was cool & brave & confident unlike her other persona. More than her appearance, it's because of that he's attracted to her.

But Su Cheng Cheng ? She literally was his bully (she wasn't really but she still stalk him & making him very uncomfortable everytime they met - as they show us) & did slack off on her job (because she was busy being SM). You cannot deny she really give a negative first, second & third impression.

He isn't a scum because he like SM & dislike SCC. BUT he still his because of the scene in the school reunion. Taking a photo of her when she is humiliated + tell her "she look so bad" + refusing to even acknowledge his wrong behavior. It's one of those ML that forget how to be human. :O

nope, youre not... Fai basically confessed his feelings so Im kinda sceptical about how how he is going to help…
Yes, he will probably say he was unserious about the kiss & his "confession". And I don't know if Wine will straight up saying he want him to be a matchmaker.

I think it will more about accepting how he can love a man as it seems he suffer from Internalized Homophobia. And then when Faifa will completely be hooked and hope that Wine have also feeling for him, Tor will come back in the picture.

Because Faifa already help anyone even if he doesn't love them, so imagine how far he could go for someone he loves ? I totally picture him helping Wine get Tor.

I hope Wine will not break Faifa but all the death flags are here: Faifa with huge abandonment trauma + Wine having a crush for Tor (ex-girlfriend's brother) + Faifa on a quest to teach Wine "how to love" (but will probably falling so much more). I can see the train wreck but I just want to enjoy the trip. Am I the only one ? :'(

For every P'Cir that exist, a Phu is here to be his light. But all I understood here is that his mom also exist in every World, so it's another body that need to be eliminated. My mission is now endless! >.<

Guess the goal of universe switching is for all the Cirs to believe in a parallel universe.
It's more about connecting all P'Cir to their respective Phu. And when X P'Cir/Phu will be connected, they will merge into Godlike beings and killing EVERY freaking P'Cir Mums!

I don't think it will happen but damn, I will keep praying that it happen someway. :P

I look at the reviews and I'm sorry but when I see 1's I just don't get it. Yes I'm 100% with you in the fact…
Online Rating is subjective & biased. We rate based on our own scale and everyone have their likes & dislikes. Some try to stay objective & some rate only based on their feeling. Some wouldn't rate below 5 even if it's the most trashy Drama & some wouldn't go above 8 even if it's the most perfect one. In your example, this person doesn't care about visual or soundtrack, so why would he use that to rate a drama ? It isn't "fair" but it was never meant to be as no one here need actual qualification to rate a Drama.

As for why this one have so many low rating: It was a very anticipated Drama with a very high budget, good actors & an ambitious storyline! But this isn't it. It's a parody that want to be serious. It just doesn't work. The writing is just so lackluster. I really don't know how it was approved and why they thought it was a good idea. They really missed the expectation of many viewers and they are generally harsher when it happen.

Personally, I didn't expect anything as I didn't know this one before it aired. But, it just wasn't for me. I can't bring myself to rate this thing as I dropped it before it end but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

So, I watched this then I read the manga.

- This adaptation is pretty much faithful to the manga. All the key scenes are here - except that the manga is a Yaoi and this don't have any NC scene but it didn't bother much as they aren't needed to tell this story.

- The manga is only one volume so they added some stuff in this adaptation. It was necessary as the manga is quite bare bone & straightforward in his storytelling. But to be honest, they didn't add the most interesting plot line either. It isn't bad but... Yeah, it's quite generic & filler content most of the time.

- I don't know why, but they choose to only use Isumi's PoV. The manga have both (even if it's more focused on Isumi) and I think it's missing here.

- The actor that portrayed Isumi have done a really good job. It's really hard to make this type of character - very expressive & borderline tsundere - without being cringe in a live action.

- As for Kyosuke, he lost a bit of his charm as they choose to not include his PoV. In the manga, he is a bit mischievous as we saw him enjoy making Isumi blush for example. So, in here he is just a "nice guy" (and they really insisted on that with multiple scenes where he help everyone).

- Also, in both the manga & the drama: the age gap & them being men are brushed off in a few sentence and actually don't bring much to the plot. Like, I would love that it would be the reaction IRL but in a fiction, if you bring those "controversial" subjects as expect a bit more from it.

Finally, I would say even with all those, I did enjoy the drama (more than the manga as it's more flesh out). Mostly because in the end, it's a cute drama with a solid & simple story. Nothing game-breaking & will probably be quickly forgotten BUT I don't see any plotline that would annoy anyone either.

8/10
