I never understood this PoV. If you like someone despite the age gap, why does it matter ? Accident happen. Sickness…
I get it. On a personal level, you wouldn't want that for yourself. It's completely fair and no one can judge people for that statement. It just irk me a bit when someone have that statement on someone else relationship. A relative on mine had a heart condition when he was born and we all knew that he will probably die young. And he did (35). He still had the most beautiful fairy tale love story with two beautiful children. His wife is now remarried & happy and nothing is wrong with that as we still have contact with them.
Something So Good That ended in disappointment!!!The series was really good from the beginning and if this was…
It just some base time travel logic here and nothing to do with past lives (no one died in between). Young Songjam was in a completely different world at first and their time was in sync when they met with the mirror shenanigan. Then Songjam traveled to Aksorn's world but their time desync at that moment. Time flow and they meet again when the gap is filled. It's why we can have two Songjam at the same time with the one in the mirror as a 16-18 year old and one in Aksorn's world (Kyo) as a 40+ year old.
A bit sad that some peoples seem to be more attached to the actors rather than the characters themselves. Both three actors made a fantastic job to translate such a unique stories. We saw spark with young Songjam but I also saw the same thing with old Songjam.
He literally shoot love beam everytime he met with Aksorn when he was Kyo and they both did when he revealed he was Songjam. We also see that Aksorn wasn't that indifferent with Kyo even if his current story with Songjam was stronger, making Kyo under the 2ML curse (liked but not enough to beat the ML's aura). But then, they revealed that ML & 2ML was actually the same person ? I was really happy about that plot twist. :)
Hmm so I know this drama is fiction more like a fairytale... But 25 years age gap? He waited 25+ years to meet…
I never understood this PoV. If you like someone despite the age gap, why does it matter ? Accident happen. Sickness is also a thing. Even the love can fade with time. Why worry about things that could never happen in the first place ? :o
I'm not saying that you should agree with that on a personal level but judging others relationship is wrong. The fact that the guy traversed dimension THEN waited 20+ years to met with his loved one, I don't know how you can't view it as a fairy tale ending when both are so happy about it.
It would have been better if Likit and Palop already had Aksorn before they met Songjam. Having Aksorn when Songjam…
I don't think he witnessed his growth. Yes he literally give birth to him but Aksorn met him for the first time at the cafe so he wasn't around. Probably because of the butterfly effect.
Why ? Just why ? I could understand him wanting to be out of this mess that this girl could bring. It's totally fair and realistically speaking, the smartest decision to make. But what not even warn the person you are supposed to be in love that his friend is just a psychotic B-word ?
And why blaming the poor dude because he have a good background ? It wouldn't protect him one bit if he is ostracized from work (what the MC is worried about for himself) and even his well off family for all he knows.
It made the character unrelatable for me and the ending really underwhelming.
Everyone is hating on Ming. Everyone is hating on Tong. But why is NO ONE hating on Joe ðŸ˜? Like don't get me…
Most of us would feel pity for him than hate. He isn't doing anything wrong to others and he is just being used.
Ming is a mess. And use a love sick puppy to cope with his shit. I can understand the hate even if I also do empathize with him.
Tong scream garbage to me for some reason. I think he is well aware of Ming feeling for him and even use them in the past. I'm also pretty sure the warning he gave to Joe to not use Ming as a stepping stone is just because he is actually do the very same thing with the sister and to some extend Ming. Scumbags always think everyone are like them for some reason. u_u
Imagine if you watch a film and all the action scenes you see in a film has closeup shot of an actor whereas stuntman/stand-in…
Well, this show also have a very distorted view on what stand-in actor are. First of all, Joe isn't a Stand-in actor but a Stuntman. Stuntmen and Stand-in actors are completely different jobs, so it's normal for him to do "all the hard work" in term of stunts. Some actors specialized in action movies do them themselves but it's really a minority.
Also, Stand-in actor are mostly used for setting up camera, lightning and all the time consuming stuff for gaining time and mostly money. They occasionally use them for some shot when particular skill cannot be played by the main actor (like playing violin as an example) and for some scene that don't need to show face or "actual" acting because they are way more cheaper.
But they never do stunts and Stuntmen aren't Stand-in actors. I wouldn't go as far as to say that no one can't do both job and even dream to become an actual actor but it's really in uncommon path to take.
Really liked the vibe of this drama. Very soothing and almost "drama free". It's just a pure & authentic love story between two gorgeous & talented peoples. The actors were also excellent. We could literally see love beam when they were on screen together. And while billiard isn't my jam, I learned some new stuff along the way. :)
I'm a bit confused as to their location. First episode description says a pub abroad. Opening episode subtitles…
Also, at one point I don't know if it's a translation mistake but they traveled to "Helan Island" (if I remember correctly) where they went to a mountain and to a "beach" but I was actually familiar with the true location: Annecy. A french town located near the Mt. Blanc. So it isn't an Island and it's definitely not close to any kind of sea (just a huge lake).
For the location in the first half I was also very confused because one time they said he was going to "Hexin", a town in China, when he was going to his school during the week. And then, he was going back to "Hel", a town in Poland, on the weekend to see her. So I just assumed they were located in Poland (even if everyone spoke in English) and "Hexin" was mistranslated. But they were actually in Finland ? ^^'
Not it matter that much because I'm already happy we have access to translation in the first place. From what I understand, Chinese (or Mandarin ?) is a nightmare to translate.
so glad that Sunjae's character is straightforward and keeps the pace going. I think right now I'm getting somewhat…
What do you mean by "straightforward" ? Like she could have told him that he will die in the future ? That she love him when she was in the past ? That wouldn't work here:
-She can't talk about the future so she just cannot say it straightforward. She did give some clues & tried to work around it. -Ideally for us, yes she could have been more honest but "realistically" (as far as we can be in a time travel setting) it was the smarter move. Her past self will take over after she leave creating a huge mess for both of them. And it isn't her fault that everytime she change things, the future stay the same with Sun Jae being death (or close to it).
As for her being immature, she was a closeted & probably overprotected 35 year old with a HUGE obsession to cover up her trauma. And when it come to their relationship (both past & future) they are both childish, cute & lovely. Maturity is nowhere to be seen but we love them for that. <3
Is it only me?? Thinking FL accident will happen in year 2023 bcoz of sudden arrested of culprit.. then either…
With the tone of this show being light & fun, I really doubt they will go a sad ending + the manhwa was a happy one so they most likely follow the original works. :O
Also do you know what I love the most about this...that there is no "I am gay?" trope, these boys just love who…
It's quite common in Thai BL shows nowadays. It's even called sometime BL universe where boys loving boys is actually the norm. You can view it clearly here when the WHOLE group has this tendency and like you said, nobody (including themselves) give a damn about it. :)
I like the fact that they took an actor that can actually dance + he is pretty good in acting too. So yeah, at first I didn't expect much but I'm enjoying more and more each week. :O
He will not be idol. We have seen at the epilogue Eclipse has 3 members. Now, hopefully he will return at swimming…
Yes from the preview, his fate as idol changed. But, are we sure that it's the last time that the timeline is being twisted ? I'm pretty sure we will have a last time travel in episode 15 or 16 when thing will go sour for one of the character. And if I would take a last guess, it will happen to Sol & Sunjae will try to fix all the thing going wrong by dealing with the "bad guy" from the start BUT by doing so, Sol will completely "forget" about her history with him.
I love the fact that even with 10 episode we still don't know with who Sunjae will be at the end. Will it be Teasung or Inhyuk ? With the preview from episode 10, it seems Teasung is the end goal!
Well, I wanted to wait till all the episode are aired to watch it but I guess I will pass on this one. It does seem bad but I always give it a shot regardless to build my own opinion. Then I learned that they euthanized a dog and the subject is too sensitive for me. So, no. Just no.
This drama is so refreshing, the female lead is not the usual ✨lucky girl✨ who happened to have a connection…
Well... She had trauma with a fire. Someone saved her. ML was a firefighter. So no, she is probably still a "lucky girl" who happened to have a connection with ML. She is already that special to him that he can touch her & she can view him when he use his power.
He literally shoot love beam everytime he met with Aksorn when he was Kyo and they both did when he revealed he was Songjam.
