It's a fiction so I don't take it too seriously. But yes, they will end up together. So if it's a deal breaker for you, you can stop watching it right now.
Somewhat unique. Having a widow with a children as a ML and a very "scummy" FL that will probably break his poor already broken heart, it's quite bold. I can already heard the scream of enraged fan of the actor (or his pitiful character) against FL that will took this story too personally. :P
I will prepare popcorn each week while reading the comment section. :D
The FLs character and her scum family or friends or whatever they are make it hard to enjoy this drama, because…
It's her family and it isn't a "special" reason, they just scam peoples for money (her previous "husband" were also victims). And wdym ? He is already in love with FL even if it's subconscious so, why it isn't a happy moment for him ? :P For a more accurate answer, if I would take a guess is either because his power isn't that limited. He just limited himself when he was young and even more when he became depressed. Or she is just THAT special. He can touch her for example. Again, if I would guess, he is the one who "saved" her (from the fire in High school ? The FB wasn't that clear), they are fated one & all the package that come from being a ML & FL in Dramaland.
Nice start. But what me made comment was the song. I don't really like Thai Songs in general but this one... It had me. So yeah, I know what I will listen in repeat this night. ^^
It depend. Sometime it's their agent (& their company) who buy their clothes. Sometime it's the production. And…
For casual clothes ? Depend. Main leads often wear sponsored clothes in Drama, so obviously, they don't buy it and the production give them. But if not, they can wear their own or the one prepared by their agency (they also have their own sponsored clothes. :P)
Dropped at Ep. 9. While the story itself is good & a bit original the execution is horrendous. The pause between line, the useless repetition & scenes that are just filler make this drama so freaking sluggish for no reason that made me yawn and be distracted by the birds singing outdoor....
-Having 2-3s of latency between every lines is just annoying. I know it's used sometime to build up some emotion but here it's almost systematic.
-Seeing a scene were characters repeat the exact same line for 30s to 1min without real purpose, I really don't understand what was the idea behind it. And all the scenes were they eat their blood pork soup take almost 10-15% of the screentime + 5-10% were they praise in various way this same soup. Combined, it's 1/5 to 1/4 of the show. Again, WHY? The worst thing is that even with all of that, they didn't even explain exactly how to make it for the curious one (like me. I needed to google it).
-And they added at that some filler scene... Like I remember one time when the sister come to feed Yo's cat in his room. Then leave almost in slow motion... THEN comeback in because she forget to turn off the light... Excuse me, why are you wasting my time ? x)
And lastly, the acting. I'm not picky when it come to that. I would even said that the males cast was "decent" even if it's clumsy if everything was at that level I wouldn't even bring the subject. But gosh... The sister... The "restaurant owner"... the vampire girl... They are literally robots or zombies on screen. Zero emotion like they deliver their line like automate.
To bad, this drama had potential but it became a waste. But I will not rate this Drama because I didn't finish it. I don't have the courage anymore and I prefer not rate when I don't see until the end to be "fair".
"I purchased about 5 to 6 clothes straight from luxury brands to transform into the daughter-in-law of a chaebol…
It depend. Sometime it's their agent (& their company) who buy their clothes. Sometime it's the production. And yes, sometime even actors need to brought their own especially if it's just regular clothes. In that case, we don't know if it was required, if it was in her own initiative or even if she used her own money, it's a bit unclear.
I made me cry in Vincenzo, laugh in Gaus Electronic and he did both in QoT. But in all three he was such a cutie pie with his clumsiness and goofiness. <3
Honestly Fuck Ming (respectfully) Joe deserves better. There's a reason Ming only does it from behind and I'm…
I hope it's a story about redemption. We all know how their "first story" ended. Ming probably did dirty to Joe with his obsession over his Sister's Boyfriend and Joe died in the most tragic way. After that, Ming probably realized his mistake but way to late now that he is a cadaver. :P
So when come their "second story" I really hope that Joe 2.0 will make Ming beg so hard. A lot of Karma to deal with.
My god, the hairstyle of the main leads is so horrible. I felt likw not continuing because of it 😭
True. Well, I will not drop it for that but god, what's going on ? x) Curly & long hair I'm not a fan but it isn't that bad but the MC... Hope some glow up in the late episode. :P
Wow, what an awesome interview. It really helped understand him as a person better. Would love to see him as a…
I remember Into the Ring being a rom-com. And while he wasn't the funny and happy-go-lucky kind of character I wouldn't qualify that as heavy. Am I wrong ? :O
[EDIT]: Oh, I misread your message. Thinking that the Drama itself was heavy. You just want him to play a happy-go-lucky type of character. ^^'
I'm still confused how peoples can send hate comment to an actor for being a villain in a fiction. It's a FICTION. He isn't even responsible of his own character. You could blame the writters but that's still a dumb thing to do. And the smack on his back ? I hope it was just a playful joke but even then it's really borderline in my humble opinion. :x
The actual term used in the Thai series (per that song scene in ep 4) is ที่รัก, tee rak, which means…
Oh, interesting! I would say that my first assumption of the meaning of "Boo" when I just started this series was a pun on Moo name. (Moo, Boo, get it ? :P) But that throw me off when it was actually Moo who was singing to his "Boo" in Ep. 4.
Then, I tried to find a link between Boo and Kang name but it really didn't work so it was obviously some sort of pet name. I could ear that he didn't seem to say "Boo" in his song but knowing nothing about Thai and how they pronounce romanized words I wasn't sure if it was Thai or English in the end.
But now, all is clear so thanks everyone for yours answers. :)
What is going to be Tae Sung's role in this future setting? he appeared only once. I hope he doesn't try to sink…
Remember his motorcycle incident ? It happened in both time line. First time, he quit school and go MIA. Second time, Sol scold him to get his shit together but we don't know yet what really happened to him after that. A theory is that he followed his father footstep by becoming a policeman.
Yeah I also saw him. I was wondering if he was still Sol boyfriend and will interrupt their lovely moment. :P…
It's still half way in the Drama so yeah... They will face some trouble. ^^ I don't think Tae Sang will be that problematic even if I guess he will still get his shoot. And maybe, MAYBE, he will be used by Sol for taking some distance from Seon Jea like it happen so often. Like "Because I feel guilty with him getting hurt", "for protecting him" and all bullshit in the "How to be a cliché MC in a Romance K-Drama". :P
Anyway, in all thing, Tae Sang will be the one getting hurt in the end. :O
I was right abt sunjae dying again and sol going back to clg days to svae him again. And i hate myself for it
I don't think he will die right now because of the whole hospital thing they pull of this time, he will survive I guess. But yeah, another time travel is most likely to happen sooner or later.
I just rewatched it and saw Tae Sang!!!!! He was outside Sol's flat and was asked by the security guard what he…
Yeah I also saw him. I was wondering if he was still Sol boyfriend and will interrupt their lovely moment. :P But yeah, his father was in the police so it make sense that he followed his trace when Sol said he should get his shit together. Also, with the issue going on, they will surely encounter each others very soon.
here in america, we commonly use boo in the same way we use babe/baby. it’s basically another pet name for your…
I just googled it (so it surely 100% accurate information :P) and it unexpectedly said it come from my own country!
"Boo" come from the French word "Beau" (meaning literally "Beautiful" and I also guess that this word also come from French because I don't think the use of "eau" is that common in English while we use it all the time in French) that was also used in the 18th century to describe some sort of secret admirer. We don't use it that way anymore or at least, I never heard it before. Maybe "une Beauté" can be used but it's more like "a Beauty" than a pet name.
Anyway, in the Colonial Era, France colonized the Caribbean Islands and the word evolved into "Boo" here. Then it somewhat gained popularity and was spread world wide -well, except in France at least but I'm maybe just that unaware of the latest trend- as an endearing term for lovers.
I will prepare popcorn each week while reading the comment section. :D
