Didn't you forget High school bullying ? Every time they are in a High school setting, you can be 100% sure that they will be some instance of bullying one way or another. They even have whole show dedicated on this concept. To some extend, you also have the bullying in work environment even if it isn't systematic.

I'm not really aware of how it's truly is in SK but I do hope it isn't THAT bad.

I'm pretty sure they portrayed Day being blind as a message of hope like you said. His life after the 3 years skip was all you described. He was happy, had a fulfilling job and great people in this life. He even get back to his ex lover while still being blind and they were beaming with happiness. The message here was clearly "You can still be normal & happy even if you are blind".

After that, him recovering his sight in the last few minute was a bit clumsy but they wanted the 'fairy tales' ending. Don't get me wrong, blind peoples can live their normal life BUT if you said to most of them they could get back their sight (or any other 'handicap') they will be really glad to have that chance. It's another message of hope, a different one, but you can deny that some miracle still happen. Why don't you like this message ? I don't see how this ending make the previous one lesser or even non-existent for some peoples.

Take what I'm saying next with a grain of salt because in the end I don't really know you but aren't you mostly upset because the ending wasn't beautifully tragic ? Like I get it, it have it's own charm to it and myself I wouldn't have mind a more 'realistic' ending but having a 'fairy tales' one isn't THAT bad.

I wouldn't say that him getting back his sight last minute was the best writing out there but not enough to make me disappointed at least.

I dunno about everyone else but it was pretty obvious that he will get back his sight at some point because all he needed was a compatible donor. Maybe the first one was what make you believe that it was over for him but he did say that him rejecting his 'eyes' was really unlucky (like it was he gained a jackpot because it was in the 1% chance to happen).

But I'm glad they didn't give him back his sight before he get back to Mhok. That would be saying that him being blind was the problem.

In the original story it was said that YW was (madly) in love with the FL but she ended up with the ML instead (it's their story in the end :P). YW was just a pitiful side character who his life was hardship on another hardship, his hopes were always crushed & peoples around him screws him over even in the last chapter (of the novel).

I also did read the webtoon and it's like here. You see him being kind of obsess in MH without knowing why exactly he act like that. Is it a crush ? Maybe. Even the latest released chapter we have a scene where MH say 'Do you like me or something ?' to SW. But SW is more interest at how MH would react if he really did like him. So it's still unclear if he have genuine feeling for him or just obsess because MH didn't give him the attention he was seeking in the first place.

The Webtoon's official English release was really recent (like 4-5 weeks ago ?) and it also was a hit when it was released.

Yeah I had the same thought when I was reading the Webtoon and it's even more obvious in it that the Sunbae was greatly inspired by MH when he created YW because in there MH always reminded himself (with flashback) when he saw YW struggle alone. Like they have the exact same background (No parent, Mom abandoned them, Grandma die 'early', difficult High school period, living in poverty, no friend, dislike other and especially themselves). But now that he is 29-year old, he gained some wisdom and can help the 'younger self'.

Jealous of Yeo Woon but it's still unclear if he had 'romantic' feeling for Myung Ha or if he just wanted to be friend. Either way, YW still 'snatched' two (his mom & MH) of his 'people' (in his PoV) .

In most fiction I would say. Book, Game and TV show. All around the world. Most of them use it at some point when they want their story to go a certain way even if it make their characters a bit silly or just stupid. Here, it was really clumsy & obvious. It didn't help that it was the cursed episode 15, K-Drama always do that in this episode. ^^'

Yeah like I said, it's probably my personal taste. I tend to like more mature & composed ML.

I also love fantasy romance and liked this one. I was gripped at episode 2 or 3 because I really liked the FL. You can continue a bit, but if still doesn't for you I don't think it will work at all because yes, this drama is at his best early on and fall off a bit (it isn't that bad like some other are trying to say in my opinion) like most drama.

No mater how you look, the chance of surviving a fall this high even if you land into water are really REALLY low. And you need to make the perfect dive to have that chance. But even then, your hands and even your arms will be severely damaged and will need months to recover. For the concrete, if a huge block fall into you in that position you are likely to have a few broken ribs at least (if not worst). So no, him surviving all of that and doing rather fine (it didn't seem all that bad in Jail) doesn't make sense.

But I don't really know why people are specially bothered by it because it the case in almost every fiction out there (to some degree). It was just a way to make the most tragic scene between the two protagonist. It was the same when she took the gunshot and then almost insta died (because he could have healed her like he did before or even teleport her to the nearby hospital) but still make time to spoke her last word. All of that was for him to sacrificing himself to make this even more dramatic. Nothing new in dramaland. Was it a bit clumsy ? Totally, I do think they could had do a better job in the writing here but to be honest it wasn't that important. They just wanted their dramatic scene & the cursed episode 15 when the lover are separated to be even more happy in the next episode. :P

Yeah saying Uke and Seme is a little bit weird for a Shonen-Ai story. Here you can use the regular MC (Myung-Ha or Uke for Jida) & ML (Yeo-Woon or Seme). For the Happy Ending, like it was said it isn't finished (for the Webtoon but I don't know if it's based on a finished LN) but it seems likely because even if MC is transmigrated into a Novel (or Virtual World like you said), the Novel written by MC's Friend/Sunbae is based on reality. For example, the MC's family is present in this 'Novel'. So, it isn't farfetched that at some point this 'virtual world' would be translated into reality by some twist.

I liked this Drama. But I'm real sucker for fantasy romance so it isn't that hard to please me. For the thing that make this Drama stand out for me was:

-The FL. I loved both the actress and the character. I liked most of this actress's work so it isn't a surprise for me. And Do Do-Hee was an interesting character as a Strong FL.

-The OST was really good and some scene were beautiful (Like when the FL & ML dance a Tango).

The ML did a good job so I don't have a complaint about his performance or even the Character. The only thing that bothered me it's that he seemed a little bit too young ? Or a bit childish & goofy for a 200+ old Demon ? It wasn't really a deal breaker and it's probably just my personal taste but it did bother me a bit sometime.

Still, It was a 9/10 for me.

I enjoyed it. It wasn't the best show I ever seen, far from it, but it's still worked somehow and I don't really know why. Like most previously post said, the writing is quite bad, confusing and feel quite random at time like it was a IA that made the script. One of those moment, it's when on episode 12 the poor Sister get absolutely destroyed by her "friends" for no good reason. They just dropped this scene and it was so out of nowhere. ^^'

I did read the webtoon (it was quite a long time ago) but to me this adaptation was quite faithful to the original work. Like The initial plot is the same or the class reunion event was 100% copy/pasted for example. So I'm really curious about changes they made that I don't remember. :O

I really liked that they added the release date. I know BTS by name now from watching Drama but to be honest it isn't really my jam so even if I understood their mistake before they given those hints it was nice to be acknowledged and that is wasn't obvious trivia that everyone should know. :p

What do you mean ? This Drama is based from the Webtoon 'Marry my Husband' created in 2021. 'Perfect Marriage Revenge' was also based from a Webtoon (same name again) created in 2021. And both of them were adapted from their respective LN created in 2020. I don't know if one of them was inspired by the other by it's kind of funny that they are always adapted in the same time every time (LN -> Webtoon -> Drama). :P

Oh nothing like that! This drama is about the couple Joon (ML) & So bin (FL) BUT the friendship between Joon (ML) & Soo Hyun (SML I guess ? But they are nothing romantic between him and FL) have the same amount of screentime (maybe even more ?). The story is really about how they become friend, help each other and become like Brother in the end. Some would even say it's a bromance (they sparkle when they are together to be honest) but they don't have any 'romantic' or 'sexual' vibe or even any scene that could joke about it (if I remember correctly). So no, MC & FL don't have any other love interest.

My guess it's that it was a nightmare (Night telling that to Namwan) from Dream. We saw him having a little 'hick-up' after that scene. I hope it is at least.
