I just want to point out that Coroner's Diary did hit 10,100 on 7/23! For Highest Peak yet... I don't know how…
Hi! Thanks for your message^^ For the highest peak, I only update it when I'm sure the score won't move up anymore. For now, CD is still airing and the score may move up so I'm waiting but don't worry it will be updated.
Hi! Yes, I already knew! When the drama is still airing, I only update after it reached a milestone (every 500). It is easier for me that way. But don't worry, the final score will be updated after the drama finish airing all its episodes.
Sorry for asking this, Just wanna know your view on this,,,What do you think the main reason for the Tencent dramas…
Hi! Sorry for the late response. I was really busy these days and I didn't want to give you a prompt reply. I think it really depends on the drama and its situation so it's quite hard to give you an absolute answer. How well the drama is reaching milestones depends most of the time on the hype and the environment. The hype : the ip, the cast, promos, number of reservation, materials, searches, views etc... The environment : the public's reception and the competition
I guess you were thinking about The Prisoner of Beauty for dramas that reach 30k super fast but struggle to reach 31k. So for TPoB, the drama was already really hyped before its airing date. Reception was quite good during the filming with all the Reuters. The long wait and Song Zu Er comeback add more hype. So, a lot of persons were watching it from the very first day. After this, the drama was quite well received by the public so the heat was moving up quite fast to 30k. And of course, there wasn't another big competitor airing at that time. It's important to note that the drama has reached 30k only once since the broadcasting date. With the arrival of Legend of Zang Hai, the heat dropped around 29k because it can't keep the same hype and engagement as before.
Another drama that reached 30k this year is The Glory. Its situation is totally different. It didn't have that much hype before its airing date and the drama was airdropped. So the heat for the first day was fine but nothing impressive. I'm not sure but I think they weren't any "big" other dramas airing at the same time. With really good public reception, it moved up steadily and reached 30k at some pivotal moment in the story.
For your second question, I don't follow Yunhe Datas so I may not respond correctly. Is it daily views? If it is then these type of records aren't common. JoL, Tale of Rose ans Legend of Shenli are big production supported by big names from c-industry. The Double or even past dramas like LBFAD who made a breakthrough are even least common. Every year, we only have one or two of these type of drama. So, I think it's quite normal that most of the dramas don't reach scores like this.
Honestly, the leopard arc was unnecessary and felt all over the place. It was introduced too late so there wasn't enough time to develop it well. It gives me quite a bad taste in the mouth because it completely changed the tone of the drama.
I think only her mother is a demon. Ban Xia have been able to see demons since her childhood. If her dad was a demon, it's impossible she didn't notice something over time. So she may be a half-demon.
If I'm not wrong, demons tend to age slower than humans. So when Ban Xia says her mother looks so young even after 10 years, it may be another clue that her mother is a demon.
I think the marriage will be after the mother's death. Only her death can explain why she was crying at the wedding ceremony and why she would want to marry into a more powerful family. I'm guessing it's going to be like this Ep 16 : Marriage proposal for FL Ep 17 : Divorce between FL's mother and father Ep 18 : Heartbreak may represent the mother's death Ep 19 : ML and FL marriage
