Oh yeah, now I understand a little bit more why you say I'm favoring some dramas compared to others. It's not me the one you're talking about. I just post on MDL. I'm not posting on any other social medias. So I can't give you an answer about what it's posted on twitter.
All my lists are a record of dramas and its milestones. When a drama airs, I'll put it in the year the drama is released. It may not be perfect but it is easier for me and users to check. After that, whenever the drama reaches a new milestone, I'll update it in the list to have a record of its evolution. So I didn't skip GoTD, it has always been there since December in my 2024 list. To help users know my updates, I always put my last update on the description. In my 2024 list, you can see that my last update was dated January, 21st 2025. So users know I was still updating in January. And if I remember correctly, my 2025 list was quite empty in January so users were still checking my 2024 list.
I don't know how long you have been checking my lists. But you can use this opportunity to save my lists and check them for future dramas or even past dramas. You can see the evolution and I think it will be more accurate than a recap posted on twitter or other social medias.

That's a good question. It never occurs before but if we are in a case where a drama airs at the last day of December, I think I'll keep this logic. I decided to record base on its airing date. 12/31 is still in 2024 so it'll be weird if I change the logic just because it's the last day of the year. Sure, it's going to be little "ugly" on my list because none of the milestones is dated in 2024. To help, I may add a little more detail to make it easier to understand.
However, GoTD is absolutely not in this case. I hope you can check my other datas on the list and not only the highest peak. Even if it only airs 4 days in December 2024, it reached from 20k to 27k within these days. So when you say most of its achievements is in January 2025, it may be true for popularity, views or other scores. But for the heat index, it reached most of its milestones in December and not in January 2025. And I repeat, the ranking is only for the heat index. None of other metric scores were taken into consideration. Heat index is just one score among many others to determine a drama's success and not the absolute one.
Also, I just want to clarify one little thing. You keep talking about the broadcasting period as a reference. But for me, it's not reliable for 2 reasons. First, the company keeps recording the heat index even after the drama aired all its episodes. It never happened but it's not impossible for a drama to reach higher way after its broadcasting period. Second, the heat index is correlated with the public reception and not the broadcasting period. There are some dramas that scores its highest peak within two days of airing and never surpass it again even if it's still airing.

Thirdly, I'm not censoring or giving any bad impression about its score. I can tell you really liked this drama but you need to know it's not that important whether the drama is listed in 2024 or 2025. It doesn't change the fact the drama reached 30k and was really successful. It's true that last year, a lot of drama reached 30k. It can gave the impression that GoTD was less successful than others. But it's not relevant because reaching 30k itself is already a hard thing. So, just because it is ranked 8 and not 1 doesn't mean the drama have poor achievements. It can only tell Tencent had a really successful year.
And lastly, this list IS based on facts. So no, I won't add GoTD. The only personal opinion I gave is in the description where I'm analyzing the score's meaning. Also, I found it quite offensive when you're saying I'm misleading audiences. Just because you don't like the logic I used, it doesn't mean it's biased or forged.

Firstly, GoTD is indeed from 2024. You can check official streaming platforms like WeTV or Tencent Video China. It's listed in 2024 and not 2025. So, it's not stupid to include it in 2024. I also don't really care about what Tencent says to show off the drama's achievements. It's more for marketing purposes. It's not the first time Tencent did this and it won't be the last. Ex : Blossoms Shanghai (2023) And by your logic, if a drama aired most of its eps in 2024 but reached 30k in 2025, should I add it in 2024 or 2025 ?
Secondly, you're feeling the drama should be in 2025 because you watched it while airing. For Watchers who will watch it way after the broadcasting period, they will check 2024 because all sites announce it as a 2024 drama.

It depends on you definition of modern drama but I don't think TBT is top 2 for dramas aired between 22-25.
