All main characters are a total mess. And I love it. It puts me through the motions . I shout at the screen while watching it. I am satisfied by behaviour I would usually despise. It makes me see perspectives I would not see or normally wouldn’t like to see. It’s making me feel frustrated every week, but it is strangely making me enjoy it looking forward to the next episode.

Definitely! Makes me think of the worst casting for a production of Hamlet I have seen, the actress playing Hamlet Michael Sheen’s mother Gertrude was also only 9 years older and definitely not looking old enough.
