Wrong! Episodes 1-5 under 45 minutes, ep. 6--8 and 10-14 over 50 minutes, ep.9 46 minutes and ep. 15 45 minutes. 16+17 under 45 again. Longest episodes were 6 and 7 with 58 minutes, shortest was ep. 17 with 39 minutes. (Disney + always lists the running time with the episodes).

I am not a fan of the amnesia trope, but I like pretended amnesia like in Crazy Love. I am here for it. I expect the following episodes to be much more interesting with this premise.
I really like the Fighter/Tutor storyline of the original, not so much the rest. This version seams a bit bland compared to the original which I certainly prefer for the other ML storyline. For me the original is too much over the top at places. What annoys me a bit here is MaxNat`s guest appearance. They really could have made good use of it but how they do it is so unnecessary.
Why are the people here so extreme? This is neither a masterpiece, nor is it garbage. It is an ok series with stong aspects but also with a lot of faults. But that is fine. I am enjoying watching although I aspected a completely different show. These men are not shown as predators. In the end they are a bunch of softies.
