Honestly I am not a huge fan of the love triangle. I am more interested in Suho and Seojun's relationship. I want to see how it is interrupted in the drama.

TVN said their goal was high internet ratings. That being said it did well for a high school drama, which normally gets between 1-3% on a cable channel, at a late timeslot. I actually saw people complaining on Naver about the time being too late. But just like how Uncanny Encounter, another webtoon that started with ratings at 2.7% and is at 6% ratings in 4 episodes, it can still go higher. So lets think positive :)

Agreed. I think he improved so much as an actor over the course of the show. I think his talent really showed in the emotional scenes. Whenever people criticize him its always "i dropped it early on". So I get the criticism based off of that but like cant agree with he was bad in it because he did improve.

There's also almost 89 K subscribers on Naver, Viki has a 9.8 rating and alomst 700 comments, while Dramacool has 76 comments and it hasnt aired yet. So many people are anticipating this drama and I hope that produces good ratings not only on the internet but on tv as well.

Teasers are not always accurate though. I saw the More Than Friends teaser and thought the show would be good but...Seeing how its the director from Extradinary You, with the producers Studio Dragon and on TVN, I still have hope theyll do a good job. I get where you are coming from, im just deciding to give this the benefit of the doubt, because we wont know until it actually airs. Anyways what you do is up to you :)

I see your response to my comment and I see where you are coming from, but honestly this is a 15 second teaser, which is why I said I will wait until the drama comes out to judge as they may handle it better than the teaser suggests.

It may seem like they're paying more attention to him but I feel like they're doing it to build his storyline more than his popularity. If you recall the last scene was him saying he has a long road ahead of him and asking the coach to help him, that was emphasized by the game footage showing him struggling and missing his shots.

I know a lot of people were talking about how they wish the wedding and honeymoon talk wasn't in there or how they didn't get it. The guy got married yesterday so the scenes were setting this up, since they'll probably show it in the show.

I feel this variety show isn't just about basketball but the personal journey of each person and I'm sure with each episode the screentime of each person will vary.

Have to disagree. U-Won was the male version of her. That type of relationship works great for a mentor/ friendship but doesn't work well for a romantic relationship. People say they complete me because that person brings out the side of them they don't usually show. But anyways I really liked the main couple here, they made sense to me. You had the scientific mind and the romantic mind and they balanced each other out. They showed each other a different way of looking at the world. Also felt they had great chemistry. I never felt any romantic vibes between her and U-won. It felt like those shippers were trying to force something that just wasnt there, just because they liked U-Won's charater better than Yi Rim's and would pick U-won if they were the main character. But of course none of them are her. But anyways that's just my opinion like that one is just yours.

People need to quit holding his face against him. Yes there are people who like him because of it but there are also people who never give him a chance because theyve already decided hes only his face. There are two sides to every coin.

Only the beginning episodes would I agree with this. His acting improved with every episode and he showed major improvement over the last ten episodes, especially with the emotional scenes. I know a lot of people who felt the same way as you but changed their minds from the middle to the end and talked about his improvement. It also didn't help that he was surrounded by people with years of experience, it made his greenness stand out more in parts especially in his comic relief scenes when he had exaggerated facial expressions.; if you watched the other actors they did the exact same but they had done that kind of acting before, and therefore looked he transition from comedic to dramatic and vice versa looked natural for them, while he still needs to work on his facial nuances. But that's to be expected when he's a relatively new actor taking on a role and genre he's never done before.

I'm by no means saying he's great but you guys are acting like he's the worst actor to ever live and that's simply not true.

Remember you're neither the director nor the writer who have their own vision of his character, of course, we as the viewers have our own vision as well. Bad acting to us equals they did not act the role the way we imagined they should or that we find realistic, therefore, they are bad. But if the actor acted the way the director and writer wanted them too then thats really all that matters.

So as I stated before you're projecting you're own feelings onto others. Aren't you assuming they like his acting because of his face based on what you believe yourself? Don't tell me you actually believe all 7.6 billion people in the world think the same as you or that you know what they think/feel? Yes ive seen people say he was good and they gave their reasons why, and no it wasnt because of his face. There is no scientific or mathematical equation when it comes to good or bad acting. It simply comes down to if the viewer finds the actor believable or not as their character. It is all subjective, and whether you'll ever admit it or not, your belief his acting his bad is also subjective.

You're assuming every one who likes his acting started off as his fan when in fact he has a lot of fans who became fans because they saw him in a drama and liked his acting and yes that includes Rookie Historian. So your logic is already flawed and so is your use of the word fact. Sorry.

You're assuming people are blinded by his looks when in fact thats you since you're assuming thats why people think he's good at acting and probably why he was casted. I'm not blinded by his looks I think he's a good actor because he protrayed his character in a believable way to me. But then again I know how his character was supposed to act based on interviews and the press conference. Can you honestly say that about yourself?

Look believe what you want to believe. You're not hurting anyone by believing what you do. But please learn the difference between the words fact and opinion. The only way I'll believe its a fact is if God himself comes and tells me that himself which he hasn't done yet.

For instance what is a fact to me is that his acting improved over the course of show especially in the last ten episodes. The cliff notes of what you're doing here is projecting your own feelings onto others and you're also assuming all 7.6 billion people in the world think and feel the same things you do; then you're assuming if they don't see things the same way they're wrong, lying, protecting, don't know what they're talking about, etc. When in reality they just like something or someone you dont. I'm fine if you dont like his acting or even like him, but it annoys me to no end when others invalidate other people's valid opinion simply because they do not see things the same way.

I'm glad that at 22 he's not considered the best actor because that would mean he's peaked and would most likely not improve. What I've seen most people say is that he's shown improvement and has potential but still has a long way to go to be great, which is the best thing you could say about a young actor who is just starting out his career, IMO.

I admire Eunwoo because he refuses to allow himself to get type casted, never choosing the same role twice and choosing roles that are meant to challenge him and expand his acting abilities, while that will undoubtedly lead to growing pains and criticism in the beginning, it also could lay a sturdy foundation for the future eventually becoming someone who is seen not only as a versatile actor but maybe one of the best of his generation. But as he's sowing these seeds now they probably won't be fully reaped for a couple more years. Some people get so caught up in the present and small details that they lose sight of the future and big picture.

The reason I like CEW's character is because his character embodies the characteristics of what the FL usually does. Think about it its normally the girls who are innocent, clueless, sheltered, who go through major chatacters transformations. Dont those female leads normally get a lot of hate from the viewers? This show is not only the embodiment of female empowerment but also bringing into question the viewers understanding of masculinity as well. Its why the viewers are subconsciously drawn to the crown prince and historian because thier society's idea of masculinity. As a person who studied sociology and has seen current data on society's current understanding of masculinity and how toxic and problematic it is, I really appreciate his chatacter. So even if you dont find his character interesting I'm sure you can still see the value in his character.

That's probably because his last lead role was an expressionless character who showed emotion through his eyes so hes had more experience with those scenes. This kind of comedy is over the top and the facial expressions are supposed to be exaggerated and he's not bad for his first time, its just the other cast members have been doing this for years and are so good that his inexperience sticks out. He needs to work on his facial nuances a little more but I think he can master this type of role as well w/ a little more practice.

I mean I love his character but I also wanted to see character growth. So I'm glad too they've started to show this mature side to him yet he's still childish because that's not going to go away overnight. I get that opposites attract thing because GHR is so mature and he's a blank canvas basically, which is this point in time is too opposite so im glad theyre starting w/ friendship, which at least makes for some interesting interactions :) Honestly I'm really excited to see where his character ends up.

Its called character development. His character isn't going to stay childish and immature he only starts out that way. The series is about him maturing and finding himself. Also while I love GHR she has her flaws too. This is also a modern drama set in historical times. Otherwise known as a fusion saeguk not a traditional saeguk. Give his character more time as this series has 40 episodes so the character development will be a bit slower but it will happen, Eunwoo said at the press conference that he starts out childlike but becomes a cool person. Trust the writers they know what they're doing. Also the second lead is the crown prince not the historian.
