Mad as a box of frogs. Every mini-drama I’ve watched is. The villains tend to be cartoonish too. Hilariously bats#!t. I watch these when I’m in a terrible mood or not feeling well, and they make me giggle myself better.
I was initially extrapolating from daddy complex to having daddy issues, but with respect to your brother, but then I wondered if it was a macho thing because of the plot. Maybe he can’t stand not being a memorable stud in the eyes of his lovers. Hero worshipping your brother is another option. I was hoping it was an established term I hadn’t hit yet. I guess We’ll find out…
Are you not able to watch the wicked game at all? I seen that there is an uncut version but it’s not for me…
Yes, thanks. It’s annoying, and I hate piracy, but my strong ethical instinct to support production is satisfied by the fact that I am a paid up iQIYI VIP, and really feel that I should have access as a result.

It’s geoblocked for Aotearoa/NZ, and the system knows my account is a Kiwi one, so I can’t get around it with my VPN provider. I’m currently pirating a show that I thought I’d get with my subscription, which goes against the grain for me. I’m happy to pay to watch, but despite taking my money they won’t let me. Hello piracy!
The trailer advertises this as coming to iQIYI, but it did with The Wicked Game too, and that’s not available with my nz membership, so I’m not sure if it will be globally available there or not.
Phu finally put away the s#!teating grin. He doesn’t seem like a complete prat any more. I’m still more interested in Phana and Ping than the main couple, but Phu is starting to seem like a less terrible idea after his latest conversation with Nava. Prapai is also seeming more cowardly the longer he refrains from being honest about his feelings, and is coming across as a total dog in the manger. I’ve stopped wishing for him to put Phu in his place. I like Phu’s brothers.
This series is possibly just a slow starter. This week’s episode has moved several pieces forward on the board.
Ping is super-pretty. I guess that’s couple two sorted, but I really hope he’s not a hunter.
I still think phu needs to learn boundaries, but he’s improving. Phraphai is much nicer, but a bit of an idiot. Who gives a gift like that, yet can’t follow through with a confession?
