I watched it, to see if I should bother once it’s all out. I will. While I have complaints, I think it’s very promising. I’m like you though. I binge dramas. I’m not going to be able to watch it bit by bit. Do look forward to the day most are out though.

The court costumes are awful. I can forgive the silly plot, but not the clothes 😝

I found this actress captivating in her small part in White Cat Legend. I hope she gets more substantial roles.

I came for the ML, because I loved him in I am Nobody. It’s still to early to say if I like this drama, but the dialogue is badly written, and since his tsundere front hasn’t dropped yet, there’s no knowing if he can act his way out of it. The same goes for her, but I’ve never watched her before, so I’ve no idea of her range.

Yes, it’s only available to paying users. most of the content worth watching is. iQIYI, like Viki, has much more reasonable pricing than platforms such as Netflix.

It’s worth watching his development over time, because there’s no silver bullet. It’s no one thing. You kind of need to fall in love with him with Joe.

Yes, it’s he that gets the real character arc, while Joe is already the perfect prince. Watch Ming, Sol, and Tong for character development, and Joe as the beautiful treasure everyone wants to own.

Ming the Merciless. Talk about a spoiled princess. I’m glad he had a decent character arc, or he’d have been the complete villain. Lovely actor though.

The English subtitles in this are pretty abysmal. They need an English speaker to run through them and add a bunch of missing words.

What a horrible, petty woman! does she improve? if she doesn’t have an arc I don’t think I can watch view her as the FL.

It is a lovely relationship, but it is tough to watch the drama in places if you’ve experienced similar traumas. I skipped forward in a fair few places. Uea’s abusers are so shameless and persistent, it’s intensely distressing.

Yang in this has a similar vibe and face to Song Joon ki in Vincenzo (Netflix). He’s much more menacing though. Song had to act his way into being menacing. Yang has it just standing in the room. This is the only thing I’ve seen him in.

I’m getting more attached to Zi Shang. She’s the leavening this drama couldn’t do without, especially where Fan is concerned. Everytone else is so dark and earnest.

The line where she compared him to the actor who plays him made me spit out my drink.
