This is badly directed. If one actor overacts it might be the actor, but when all but a couple of characters are hamming furiously you know the director is a fool š
I love Ju. Her overacting was actually cute.
I like the fantastic story, given this problem. Itās sufficiently over-the-top to make the scenery chewing tolerable, because thereās a comic book vibe to it.
Honestly, ratings donāt mean much anymore. Some series are truly worth watching, and others arenāt. What really…
The rating is a good general indicator, though sometimes itās about problematic characterisation or disturbing plot, rather than quality of production and acting. Reading the comments is how I decide in the end, but I completely bypass dramas with less than 7. Itās like the first pass filter. So far this drama has no really bad points, though itās not outstandingly good either. I read the comments to decide I wanted to start watching it, but if the score had been lower I wouldnāt even have bothered doing that.
question:why do knight keep saying i wont lose mild again to mild's brother?? did i miss something? were they…
Iām thinking Knight has liked Mild since they were kids, but didnāt say anything because of his age. He possibly told Mud though. That would make their tension more understandable to me.
Aside from the Per character being annoying as hell Iām liking this, but the acting isnāt amazing. Mild has the excuse of inexperience, but for someone playing first lead in his debut heās incredibly composed. He might end up being really good. Knight is the most appealing character for me. Very straight forward and sincere.
I laughed at the part where Kan's friend tells the other girl she has always liked Kan. Idk, it was so out of…
Not really. Sheās been giving Per the stink-eye every time sheās seen him with Kan. Iād like to see her hook up with Great though. Sheās a poppet.
Things to discuss...1. PerKan gets way more screen time than everyone else.2. I love Knights' honesty 3. Natcha…
I concur on all points. Knight is definitely my favourite character. Perās too handsy and too much of a tease. His sincere, sweet moments donāt change that for me.
I totally get what youāre saying, and I respect that perspective, but I feel a bit differently because of the…
Iām not talking about force. Iām talking about consent. Failing to get consent isnāt always about brutality. Sometimes itās about boundaries, respect, and consideration with regard to what is okay or not.
I have an audio processing problem, so it makes it impossible to hear voices properly. Iām not a Mandarin speaker, so I use subtitles anyway, but with some scenes hearing the speech is important, even so.
I wish, but there are other comments saying that they are indeed related. Idk what to believe.
Believe whatever you want. If itās ambiguous then itās considered unimportant, so odds are the least controversial explanation is correct, but if you want to clutch your pearls just believe the worst and go to it. Itās not like theyāll be having kids togetherā¦
Martinās acting is abysmal. He makes my teeth itch. Iām giving up on this series. Itās a shame, because Fan is delightful as Haiyuan. I just hope he gets a decent co-star next time.
I see Satoh, I watch. The original Korean version of this was quite good, and Iāve seen a Cdrama that closely resembles this plot line, but Iāll definitely check out this version š
Depression isnāt a mood. Itās a disease. Being strong is an incredibly unhelpful approach to mental illness. It hides the fact that things are not okay. Accepting youāre ill, and seeking treatment is a much better approach. Itās okay to not be okay. Thatās the only way to get help.
