Well, this might be true. I watch dramas to escape so I want things to have a positive ending otherwise I don’t watch.

It’s more towards the end as he gave her the cure, but he’s not actually cured himself so he has a relapse and he doesn’t want her to know about it as there’s basically one cure and he gave it to her lol

I agree. It’s like I pointed out the fact that everybody was bashing the female lead when she wasn’t telling the truth, but then we’re dead silent on when he didn’t tell her the truth, either about his poison or the fact that he was dying and was going to sacrifice himself.

Irritates me a bit is like at the end of episode 22 when she actually did tell the truth. What if I did want it? He kinda brushes it off and dismisses it by, saying oh well you had so many opportunities to get it, but you didn’t. Never thought to ask her why she never took these opportunities or anything like that. Then he produces that bottle of wine that she gave him at the very beginning and she literally tried to stop him from drinking it and he turns around and he’s like what is it drugged? And she says yes, she tells the truth. He drinks it anyway, he then asked her like were you not sincere when you gave it to me or something like that and she was like I’m sincere now. So yeah, she was trying to get up the courage to tell the truth and he just wasn’t listening and was completely dismissive. So that whole conversation really pissed me off.

Why are somebody asking me like can I not tell the difference between why they lied they have completely different reasons. They’re like she was lying for selfish reasons because she just wanted to cure whereas he was lying to spare her feelings because he didn’t want her to grieve when he was gone and thought that she would just move on. I like what selfish region reasons? She literally just wanted it to save her own life and I was like isn’t that what she was doing in the beginning because she even said 227 love doesn’t mean anything if I’m dead? In her way of thinking, she has to go back to her own country so the relationship was never gonna work no matter how she felt and she’d rather steal it have him not break his oath to his dying master and have him hate her, then have him grief her loss? I was like they literally did the same thing because they were trying to spare each other‘s feelings lol. The other person was like you obviously don’t get it and I was like I actually do get it. I think you’re the one that doesn’t get it lol

I think somebody else said like yes, she had feelings for him, but she in the beginning, never thought their relationship would work because she’s dying lol and be like with her wearing the façade is the crown prince. Her mission always came first no matter what she only ever thought about getting the cure and going back to her country. That was her goal the entire time, which is why she ended up being conflicted a bit because she loved him, but she also had things that were kind of more important than her personal feelings

Honestly, in Fangs of fortune, HMH and second male lead, had WAY more chemistry than HMH had with thr female lead in that drama. The leads in this drama have way more chemistry than he did with the female lead and thanks of fortune lol

So I’m not sure if this one will be coming out soon cause I know his other drama glory is coming out at the end of December I think? So what day normally dramas with the same actor every single month? Or would they wait?

I also wrote a review which I don’t do very often. I gave it a nine. People might agree, but the fact that I was obsessed, which doesn’t happen very often, and I was pretty much living in this comment section or on Reddit waiting for discussions that I did such a deep dive into the characters backgrounds very rarely does a show have that kind of effect so I think it deserves a higher rating because of that that’s me
