I find it Interesting because I was reading an article where there was actually another actress cast for the role, but she was involved in some kind of scandal. I don’t know whether she backed out or it was asked to back out but then Ai Mi was given the role instead.
The original actress for the Chinese drama Key to the Phoenix Heart (Huangyang Tiantian) stepped down due to a family controversy, and was replaced by actress Ai Mi.
Details of the Recasting
Original Actress: Huangyang Tiantian was initially cast in the lead female role of Xie Jiayu.
Reason for Departure: Her acting career was put on hold due to a "family controversy," leading to her being reassigned from her lead roles in two different dramas.
Replacement Actress: The role was recast with Ai Mi, who stars opposite actor Neo Hou Minghao.
Take this with a grain of salt because I couldn’t find an official article other than what Google told me.
The screenwriter of this drama has confirmed that Fate Chooses You will have Happy Ending 🥳
I haven’t watched it yet, but isn’t burning flames also a sad ending? Also, he started another drama that I’m pretty sure how to sad ending lol I think it’s 1000 years for you ? Although I could be wrong, cause I got this title and the title of another drama mixed up recently lol
I would like this to air but then it will get done quickly then I will miss HMH again more and know this industry…
Well, two of his dramas are supposed to Air in December. The drama and his drama glory are apparently supposed to air around the same time from rumours I’ve heard.
I feel like a lot of people don't know how deep the entertainment industry really goes; seldom are the actors…
I’m from Canada and I worked as a background extra and I don’t think people realize and it’s probably worse in China how unforgiving the industry is. I was in a situation where I was coming home from set from being overnight. I really should’ve pulled over by the side of the road because I was so tired, but I ended up rear ending someone because I fell asleep or blanked out. No one was hurt, but when I tried to talk to my agency about it, asking them to please not send me any more overnight contracts. They turned it around on me and we’re like oh well we’ll send them to you. You can just say no. The thing is once you start saying no especially when you’re an upcoming actor, you won’t get roles. This was my wake up call I ended up just leaving the industry.
Until you’re well established, you don’t really have a lot of choice and just have to take whatever you can get. I’ve seen a lot of negative comments about him because of this. I don’t know how it works in China when it comes to auditing, but unless they felt the need to do a chemistry test, he probably wouldn’t find out until after and by then it would be too late to back out.
So... Currently watching Love in the Clouds and thoroughly enjoying myself so I came here to take a look at some…
For her being under age, there will be absolutely no kissing scenes. Or any other scene like thatI guarantee it.
Even the romance, the long ballad where Leo Lou was 21 the one kissing scene they had the camera just faded out to a pair of lovebirds lol. So you can absolutely have a romance and not having any kiss or intimate scenes if the chemistry is good. Since plenty of Chinese dramas due to censorship or their conservative viewpoint might not necessarily show romantic scenes, which I am fine with giving her age.
do they break up and get back together? Which eps? Thinking I might skip through the uncomfortable trope!
It’s more towards the end as he gave her the cure, but he’s not actually cured himself so he has a relapse and he doesn’t want her to know about it as there’s basically one cure and he gave it to her lol
