I was assuming, after coming from his background and he became her disciple that he would learn to trust people through her lol.
We know that, his background was definitely more horrific abuse comes in all different forms. She had an illusion put on her in infancy that she was a boy, so was never able to truly be herself or know what it was like to be a woman until she ended up at that brothel. Of course she’s gonna have good people skills. She grew up in a palace, even though she grew up as royalty that doesn’t mean her life was great necessarily. Not only did she have to learn how to deceive people and make it believable from a young age. It seems like her mother the empress never really seemed to love her unless she was useful, and her usefulness came from being number one and being the strongest all the time in the arena. The moment that she was sabotage through poison. Her own mother cast her aside with nothing but the clothes on her back. Although the excuse was use it for her own safety, we know that without the antidote she was going to die anyway. Her mentor was the one who told her where to find it. I’m assuming with her having to learn from a young age to deceive everyone that she also learned that she couldn’t trust people either obviously 27 and her master or different. Abuse comes in all forms, not just as extreme as the male lead lived. They both have their own traumas since they’re dealing with. When you’ve been raised with this kind of engrained indoctrination I don’t know if that’s the right word even if somebody shows you I can be trusted you’re not gonna get rid of a learned behaviour just like that. Hell, even after she disappeared when she lost the tournament, her younger brother sent people after her to look for her probably to kill her. This situation was worse doesn’t mean her trauma was any less valid than his. Just because she lived in privilege on the surface doesn’t mean her life was great either. I mean heck there’s even that scene where she was doing handstand for so long because she just wanted to get some scallion pancakes after the tournament that she won that she was punished to handstand for so long that her hands literally had cuts all over them.
Trauma is different for everyone. Everyone is gonna react differently to their life circumstances. This is what makes characters complex, lol. I guarantee she’s never been shown a genuine emotion from anyone. I think that’s why at the end of the last episode. She said that she would serve him as long as she could be useful because that’s all she feels. She’s good for which I think is really sad.
I guess in few days he will take as well Ming Xians shifu 😂
😂 this is gonna turn out because he made her promise not to be in contact with anyone from the outside so it’s like how is she supposed to contact her Shifu? 😂
That "Fujun" almost got JBZ slipped in the prison cell floor lol
What I find hilarious is her spirit animalis a cat he can easily turn into a cat and jump out from between the and I don’t understand why he doesn’t do this. 😂
Ok I am horrible with suspense, but Google is lying because it doesn’t have accurate information. I am curious to see what Xia brother survives. I’m kinda hoping it’s the emperor lol
Yes....but she is also in a life and death situation She think he is a player and didn’t think he'll waver with…
I also thought this until the end of the moon as well cause the writers did the same thing. I never read the novel, but in the novel, the male lead was a true psychopath due to having an extremely horrific traumatic childhood. I’m also into his adulthood too like everyone around him just abused him and took advantage of him so I understand why he turned evil lol. The thing is, though it’s like they went out of their way to rewrite his character to make him more empathetic to the audience and so that you can see more of his internal struggle. They didn’t do the same for the female character, and a lot of her actions and thought processes just came out out or across is really indecisive and wishy-washy. I think because I’ve read spoilers from the novel I could understand more on her perspective that didn’t necessarily come across in the drama. I know that many people were upset with her in the drama for her actions and sympathize with the male lead. So I think the parallels between that drama to book adaption, and this drama and book to drama adaption are kind of the same. And the inconsistency in the writing and rewriting male character and not rewriting the female character kind of is so aggravating and irritating.

I’ve been enjoying reading your comments. I like debating about what people think about the female lead when it’s well fought out like your comment is cause I can understand things from both perspectives. I just find it irritating when comments are bashing her and saying that she’s a nasty person for lying. It’s like she was also abused in different way so I understand why she acts the way she does.
I don’t understand how he bought her lie in the first place. I think this is all self deception 😅😭
I think that knowing somebody loves you understanding that they love you and accepting that they love you are completely different. She grew up in an environment, where love was conditional that she always had to be stronger and better than everyone else before her mother gave her any affection I think. She might know he loves her, but might not understand or accept it yet. Also, this illusion that she has been under has been engrained in her systematically her entire life so she’s not just gonna give it up just like that.

Lived with the deceit, her entire life think about it. This solution has been on her since infancy is drilled into her that no matter what she must not tell anyone her secret yes, the second figured it out and she did try to like not confirm it. When she needs before him and says that whatever she’ll be useful, it’s because even the love of her mother has been conditional as long as she was useful and maintained her top spot the minute that she had a weakness and fell her mom completely abandoned her to die. When something‘s been engrained in you for your entire life trust doesn’t come easily. So while I don’t agree with her lying, I can understand it more from her perspective. Since I don’t believe that that her life has been that great obviously it appears better than the male these life because he was a slave and grew up horrifically, but I don’t think her life was entirely great either for different reasons. At least the mail lead ended up meeting his master and his master of teaching him how to trust people, but she literally had no one except for her spare animal and maybe her master. What she went through is still abuse in a different way.
Yes Yaoguang mountain emperor real son is ji bozai not mingyi in the end of drama he become crown prince of yaoguang…
We don’t know how the drama is gonna end though cause it’s still ongoing lol. Also they’ve completely deviated from the novel so who knows how the drama will end still hoping it’s happy though.
It was explained that you can still do simple spells, even without spiritual veins. Having spiritual veins means you can cultivate to be more powerful and do more complex spells
