I thought the revelation that MY is not what she seems to JBZ will be much grander or sth, but everything happened…
Apparently, even though I feel all the signs are there that she is MX. She continues to lie and even tries to convince him that she’s MX’s fiancé or something. 😂
You already see it in episode 13 that it’s more that he’s hurt that she’s deceiving him through her identity. I think that’s it. We see it in episode 13 where when he has to try and carve her name into the marriage stone and is repeatedly struck by lightning because in order for them to be able to carve their initials into the marriage stone, there has to be genuine, emotion, and sincerity there. It won’t let him carve her name into it because. Her name Ming Yi is not her true name so every time he tries, he gets struck by lightning. He says something like I knew it. Which confirms that he knew that she was deceiving him about who she was, but he doesn’t know that she’s actually. Ming Xian yet. So I think that that’s what they’re referring to that she’s still hiding her identity from him, which has put him in a bad situation because now he’s committed to standing by her side to the world so now he still has to continue putting on an act with her, even though he doesn’t think she genuinely has emotions for him yet.
Because she approached first, she lied to him about her feelings. JBZ didn't empty talk to her about his feelings…
We haven’t met her father yet though, and since things are working out much differently in the drama, we don’t know if that’s what they’re going to follow. Since in the novel we know that from the very beginning, the empress has been poisoning her to control her. She knows that the empress has been poisoning her to control her. In the drama, though as far as we know, this is the first time she’s been poisoned and she doesn’t know who did it. And the drama she seems to have a much better and more loving relationship with her mother at least on the surface. So I don’t think we can follow the novel about what’s happening since they apparently deviated quite a lot so the drama is kind of its own story.
Because she approached first, she lied to him about her feelings. JBZ didn't empty talk to her about his feelings…
Because when you’ve never had that emotion yourself or had anyone show those kind of genuine emotions, to you? how are you supposed to recognize them in yourself? lol.
Because she approached first, she lied to him about her feelings. JBZ didn't empty talk to her about his feelings…
Can’t be entirely fake though because otherwise they wouldn’t have been able to cross the bridge so there’s something there. I just don’t think she recognizes it so I think we’ll just have to agree to disagree lol
What hypocrite? He wasn't deceiving her about love. He was honest with his feelings. In his schemes, they both…
I don’t think she realized this until she saw the bottle with the stars. I feel that when you’ve never really been treated genuinely or truly loved because let’s face it. I don’t think the Empress really loved her all the empress cared about was that she was the strongest and that she had to win all the time and the moment that she lost because she was poison the emperor booted her out for not having spiritual powers anymore. Since now she couldn’t maintain the lie that she was a man which was placed on her by the empress by the way.
You say in his schemes, they both benefited, but there was a few times where he literally put her life in danger, knowing that she was weaker and power or not realizing that she had the spiritual power to get herself out of it. Obviously when they were in the illusion realm his original intention was to sacrifice her and leave her behind, but instead he came back. Also, she’s literally dying. She’s been poisoned even though there was more a matter of urgency for her issues. She still kind of put it on the back burner to help him get justice for his master, and even like helped him protect the golden millet dream from others that would use it for their own selfish gain. Not saying that her act was entirely selfless, but she is dying you know and for someone who’s been taught never show weakness ever I can’t blame her for suddenly being like oh wait I’m not who I say. I am and I’m poison and dying like they weren’t just at that part of the relationship to be completely honest. I mean there was even one comment where he started to say something and then just completely paused and didn’t end up finishing the sentence and I thought so he says that he trust her, but he obviously doesn’t trust her 100% because something is holding him back.
Sorry but he lied and tricked her from the beginning and now he's pissed she did exactly the same. Revelation…
Well, we know his past was being experimented on for the golden millet dream cure. That he was basically a slave, and was treated pretty horrifically and that his master saved him and gave him a better life.
E13 he finds out she isn't Ming Yi but let's see how it unfolds from now on because it's obvious that's she's…
It’s really hilarious because it’s like so obvious that she’s is Meng Xian, like why else with his spirit animal go to her? Even in the previews for today’s episode or tonight episodes I think when she tries to use her spiritual powers on him to help him heal and he makes a comment like oh you have spiritual powers as well. What other secrets are you hiding just who are you? I was like dude you still haven’t figured it out. It’s so obvious. If she wasn’t Meng Xian
1) why would she ask about the fan?
2) why would she ask about him using dirty tricks to poison him?
3) why would his spiritual animal go to her?
4) why would she tell him that she also thought that MX would think he’s a good opponent?
If she’s not him then, why would she want to know or care about any of this?
Veteran CDrama watchers: I have a question about something.🙂During the "60 - 70 episodes" era of CDramas,…
I come from Canada where our shows are only aired one episode a week, so I feel that even if there’s a day where only one episode drops even if I find it a bit frustrating I still feel spoiled lol.
Well from my experience of watching dramas, when the last petal has fallen and she's about to take her last breath…
But this is based off of a novel. I know that the novel is very different so far so we can’t entirely go off of that. I was thinking they like if someone has read the novel could mention it maybe that’s one thing they’ll keep the same?
Sorry but he lied and tricked her from the beginning and now he's pissed she did exactly the same. Revelation…
The thing is that I understand, he was trying to get justice to avenge his master. She is literally dying like every time she uses her spiritual power, it is life-threatening because once those petals ran out it will kill her, so I feel like her situation has a little bit more desperation to it. Even though like he doesn’t know she’s poisoned as of yet.
I haven’t gotten to this episode yet, but he was stabbed how does stabbing him being stabbed by his friend lead…
I read another spoiler that said he loses his memory through the acupuncture that will save his life.
The next part I was talking about his sister slapping Jinyan. I thought it was really funny that at first he was shocked, and then he was almost delighted that she dared slap him because he never been slapped before by anyone.
