Neo was phenomenal in FOF!!! I completely fell head over heel for him in FOF. His acting was incredible. Itās…
Watching a video compilation of all his dramas on YouTube and apparently was it Duiban? Score or the Douyan score for fans of Fortune was super low like 5.5. I was really surprised because everybody gave it such glowing reviews. Although I think these are mostly just Chinese drama watchers. If someone can actually verify or confirm that it did actually get a low score let me know.
I'm not usually into xianxia dramas, but LITC is my first and i'm hooked! I'll definitely be rewatching it šš«¶
This isnāt actually a Xianxia as those type of dramas usually deal with the heavenly realm, Godās /deities, immortals and demons. This dramas is a Xuanhua just a regular fantasy.
This drama can be watched as a standalone but if you want to understand more about Wangquan Fugui and his father…
I couldnāt finish Fox Spirit matchmaker red moon pact. I love both Yang Mi and Simon Gong, I just felt the chemistry was flat I had started watching the double at the same time and I ended up dropping Red Moon pact to watch the double and havenāt gone back lol.
If you like this one, I highly recommend When Destiny Brings the Demon (aired on YOUKU before LITC). It has insane…
Yes such great chemistry. I could totally see them in a modern drama together. Although I think I would have to imagine that theyāre. Wei Jaio and Zhou Ye living their modern lives š¤£
Of blood River and whispers a fate on my two watchlist, but Iām not sure if Iām ready to move on lol. I might watch sword and beloved, but apparently love and pavilion is like a sequel cause I have to do with his parents so even though they give a recap of the beginning, I might go watch that one first even though I know itās sad
I'm still watching the final episodes, but I'm really impressed how well the writers developed the script because…
Also, like how the female lead pointed out that he was thinking of all these future plans for her like that sheād be fine and that she move on and find somebody else to love that she would be fine without him and she literally now that everythingās out in the open was like did you ever think of how I felt like knowing that you sacrificed yourself and that I would never move on or ever find someone else. You could see him kind of positive that that basically by him sacrificing himself should be alone for the rest of her life pretty much and you can see him. I felt that that kind of just gave him pause for a moment, I liked how after that, even though he still had the mentality that if needed, he would sacrifice himself and the female and was like hell no like get that thought out of your head weāre doing this together. Youāre not gonna be alone in this after everything weāve been through š

Love in the clouds is just fantasy. Itās not Xianxia, but I will stay out of all the Xianxias I have watched I would say when destiny brings the demon is the healthiest relationship out of everyone, even the legend of Shen Li since wife from the beginning, the female lead, and the male lead were just so communicative, and there were no misunderstandings and no miscommunication lol
Me too. I hate this sucked because I know that thereās so many good dramas that have sad endings that Iām missing out on. Because I refuse to watch sad endings lol. I started watching fangs of Fortune even though I know itās a tragic ending and had stopped watching three episodes to the end lol. I might go back at some point to finish the last episode
You mean a FL who risk her life for him....will jump in front of a power blash for him...Ya really horrible how…
Letās face it. Theyāre both using each other in the beginning and neither one of them trust each other. Well, he is more honest in his feelings about coming to care and love for her.
She is initially focussing on just her mission and her mission is to get the antidote so she can cure herself and go back to her realm in order to pick up the duties of the Crown Prince.
Cause initially, he was also scheming and manipulating against her, but he was just more open and honest about it than she was. When is saying that what she did wasnāt wrong lol. The problem is as viewers we can say oh she shouldāve been honest, but the deeper the line went the more she felt bad. Since she started to care for him and didnāt want to hurt his feelings by admitting that sheād only introduced herself as a way to get close to the antidote, then later when she finds out that he had an oath to his master never to bring the antidote into the world. She didnāt want him to go against that oath because even though Iām not from this culture, I do understand that these oaths considered sacred and she didnāt want to be the one to make him choose between her and the oath he had to his master. So sheād rather be the bad guy and just take it for herself especially since once sheās healed she has to go back and pick up the duties and responsibilities of her realm which would mean they would be separated, probably permanently, so they would either be separated by their stations since they didnāt know about their identities at this point or she would die so she would be separated by death. She would rather that he be angry and hate her at her actions then be sad and miss her. So while I donāt agree, I can understand where sheās coming from. We arenāt acting like itās heroism,
The miscommunication and misunderstanding tropes are rampant in Xianxia and Xuanhua dramas thereās only been a few dramas in the last year that Iāve moved away from these tropes. So if you go to watch these dramas and expect anything different than these dramas arenāt the dramas for you lol.
The ending reminded me of Love of the Divine Tree. This is how a xianxia drama should end. Yaaaassssss š š
This isnāt a Xianxia as these drama is involved demons, daddyās gods and the immortal realms and heavenly realms. Love in the clouds is just a fan so itās called. Xuanhua
BZ, MY and SL went through a lot in life but in the end two chose the righteous path while one strayed off. š„²…
I found it interesting that, the female lead had given the second male lead at least a glimmer of hope? Since he said that she was light in the darkness that kept him going, but neither she nor the male lead had hope as nobody was the glimmer for them when they were children? Yet they didnāt come out with twisted and warped viewpoints I guess? I wouldnāt necessarily say personalities.
She doesn't deserve to have a relationship with either of them, in my humble (still angry at her) opinion. Maybe…
I also feel the same, at least for JZBās part she made it seem like she did it for his own good because she wasnāt sure if he would survive in the palace and that she did some people out to look for him even after she was told that he was dead. So for his part, never having a mother I think I can see why he would want a relationship with her more so than the female lead. She had given him to BYL in the hopes that she would find a good family for him, but then again she didnāt even seem to give BYL money so that he could at least live a comfortable life. If I were my son, I would be like OK let me see the body. I wonāt believe it unless I can see the body. Even though I think also what BYL did was awful when she found out that there was a child in the sun kind of abyss he was like the youngest person there she couldāve gone and saved the mail lead then when she overheard them talking, even as an adult she like, didnāt go herself to save him. She waited until he escaped himself. So I give her a tiny bit of leniency for like going against her clientās oath to try and save him and ultimately sacrificing herself since she was dying anyway to create a cure. At least she felt guilt and remorse over her actions, but sheās just as bad as the Empress in my books.

There was also:
Love of The Devine Tree
I would also count these dramas as well:
Back From the Brink (not necessarily for the leads but having a satisfying endings for the side characters)
Moonlight Mystique
When Destiny Brings The Demon (Some might not have found it satisfying but I did)
