You mean a FL who risk her life for him....will jump in front of a power blash for him...Ya really horrible how…
Let’s face it. They’re both using each other in the beginning and neither one of them trust each other. Well, he is more honest in his feelings about coming to care and love for her.
She is initially focussing on just her mission and her mission is to get the antidote so she can cure herself and go back to her realm in order to pick up the duties of the Crown Prince.
Cause initially, he was also scheming and manipulating against her, but he was just more open and honest about it than she was. When is saying that what she did wasn’t wrong lol. The problem is as viewers we can say oh she should’ve been honest, but the deeper the line went the more she felt bad. Since she started to care for him and didn’t want to hurt his feelings by admitting that she’d only introduced herself as a way to get close to the antidote, then later when she finds out that he had an oath to his master never to bring the antidote into the world. She didn’t want him to go against that oath because even though I’m not from this culture, I do understand that these oaths considered sacred and she didn’t want to be the one to make him choose between her and the oath he had to his master. So she’d rather be the bad guy and just take it for herself especially since once she’s healed she has to go back and pick up the duties and responsibilities of her realm which would mean they would be separated, probably permanently, so they would either be separated by their stations since they didn’t know about their identities at this point or she would die so she would be separated by death. She would rather that he be angry and hate her at her actions then be sad and miss her. So while I don’t agree, I can understand where she’s coming from. We aren’t acting like it’s heroism,
The miscommunication and misunderstanding tropes are rampant in Xianxia and Xuanhua dramas there’s only been a few dramas in the last year that I’ve moved away from these tropes. So if you go to watch these dramas and expect anything different than these dramas aren’t the dramas for you lol.
The ending reminded me of Love of the Divine Tree. This is how a xianxia drama should end. Yaaaassssss 😅😍
This isn’t a Xianxia as these drama is involved demons, daddy’s gods and the immortal realms and heavenly realms. Love in the clouds is just a fan so it’s called. Xuanhua
BZ, MY and SL went through a lot in life but in the end two chose the righteous path while one strayed off. 🥲…
I found it interesting that, the female lead had given the second male lead at least a glimmer of hope? Since he said that she was light in the darkness that kept him going, but neither she nor the male lead had hope as nobody was the glimmer for them when they were children? Yet they didn’t come out with twisted and warped viewpoints I guess? I wouldn’t necessarily say personalities.
She doesn't deserve to have a relationship with either of them, in my humble (still angry at her) opinion. Maybe…
I also feel the same, at least for JZB’s part she made it seem like she did it for his own good because she wasn’t sure if he would survive in the palace and that she did some people out to look for him even after she was told that he was dead. So for his part, never having a mother I think I can see why he would want a relationship with her more so than the female lead. She had given him to BYL in the hopes that she would find a good family for him, but then again she didn’t even seem to give BYL money so that he could at least live a comfortable life. If I were my son, I would be like OK let me see the body. I won’t believe it unless I can see the body. Even though I think also what BYL did was awful when she found out that there was a child in the sun kind of abyss he was like the youngest person there she could’ve gone and saved the mail lead then when she overheard them talking, even as an adult she like, didn’t go herself to save him. She waited until he escaped himself. So I give her a tiny bit of leniency for like going against her client’s oath to try and save him and ultimately sacrificing herself since she was dying anyway to create a cure. At least she felt guilt and remorse over her actions, but she’s just as bad as the Empress in my books.
I found it funny that now that the Empress has her son back she seems to have some remorse over how she treated MY. We see this after JZB gets drunk with his father in law and gives MY the scallion pancake saying it is from the Empress wishing her a happy birthday and stating she wasn’t she if she wanted to see her.
Hello?! Why would she want to see her?! When she spoke and treated her the way she did? MY saying she would go the next day like she didn’t have to go at all!
I thought it was hilarious when he basically told the emperor to go F himself by saying he just wanted to be a warrior and he was in his prime and could go sire or another Crown Prince 🤣 . I don’t think that will happen because well we never saw if he had any other concubines, but I don’t think The Empress should have any more children since she couldn’t even raise the two children she had properly whether it was her son or adoptive daughter and Lady Meng was demoted because of all the crimes her son did that she was aware of.
Dear LitC director, i am still recovering from FoF ending.
I’m a latecomer to this drama, and I didn’t even watch the last three episodes because my heart can’t take it. Normally intend to watch dramas that only have happy endings but that means I’m missing out on really good dramas just because their endings are sad so I ended up watching it anyways lol
I think after what he endured in ep. 13 to protect her, he deserves to know the truth. As far as she knows, he…
What episode are you on? because they have come clear with their feelings he’s even said he loves her. I don’t think she’s angry that he’s using her. She knew he was using her and she’s gone along with his plans to expose the murderers of his master so…. Everything’s mostly cleared up now though except for one issue that he’s still hiding from her everything’s out in the open now except for that.
I notice that no wonder all the realms need the blessed rain, they all look so poor.Yaogang mountain is arid with…
A blessed rain only has to do with spiritual power, the higher realms have access to a higher source of, spiritual power sources than the lower realms, which is why that they can produce better warriors than the lower realms. The blessed rain just allows around to have more spiritual powers and higher cultivation levels. That’s why you see Yuangong winning all the time and the lower realms Jingxi miss losing. That’s why they make a comment that although it seems fair all it does to keep the higher realms on top and the lower realms on the bottom
I just completed an ongoing bl ('Khemjira', if anyone watching)...and when I wake up I have to say bye to this…
I need to watch the last episode, I just laughed because I can’t believe it didn’t occur to them to ask what time his birthday was instead of just assuming that her curse would be over at midnight 😂

There was also:
Love of The Devine Tree
I would also count these dramas as well:
Back From the Brink (not necessarily for the leads but having a satisfying endings for the side characters)
Moonlight Mystique
When Destiny Brings The Demon (Some might not have found it satisfying but I did)
Hello?! Why would she want to see her?! When she spoke and treated her the way she did? MY saying she would go the next day like she didn’t have to go at all!
