Yes, her transformation was amazing. I kept wondering who she was in the scene with SeRi in the showroom. I kept thinking how familiar she looked but didn’t realize it until she was back at her restaurant. She looked amazing. They really make her look terrible as DoHees mom!

If you haven’t started this yet, wait until all the episodes are out. there are only 2 weeks left. I wish I had because it’s too stressful to wait a week between episodes. That aside, LDW is excellent in any role he plays. He has the most expressive face and is truly believable as whatever character he portrays. I like that he doesn’t allow himself to be typecast and is willing to explore different roles.

I’ve said before, he’s my favorite actor in this show. He makes me laugh. I also love the faces he makes when talking with his “father”

I wish they would shorten the scenes with Do Hee’s mother. They really are a waste of the short minutes in each episode.

So Ji Hyoek is such an independent guy who can’t work for a jerk or look for another hob, or god forbid start his own company that he decides to marry a woman who probably secretly loves him without a written contract. Does he really think he will have control of his life? The father in law probably has some hidden agenda too. This is not going to end well for him.

Bring back the wife/mother who abandoned their family is a common trope. They are always pretty and self centered. The same character was just in For Eagle Brothers. I’m sure she will be sent packing by the end so don’t stress over her appearance.

Excellent assessment. While i love romance in a drama, I totally agree with you. The romance is secondary to the emotional family issues the characters carry. The romance will be the icing on the cake.

it’s so nice to see two wonderful actors from CLOY together again. YKW is so different/funny in this role. He’s really a versatile actor. He’s also reunited with his fellow cast mate from Welcome to Samsal Ri, the wonderful Kim Mi Kyung who is the ultimate K drama Mom When the 3 are in a drama, you can expect a quality show. I’m really enjoying this slice of life drama.
