Title Andante
It's starting to drag which isn't surprising. It seems like the writers have characters that are detailed and written well but not interesting stories to develop them and keep the interest of many viewers.

Good characters, weak story. The only caveat is that it is still airing... but I think any major departure in storylines will feel too forced at this point. It feels like they've committed to the slice of life in rural community.

I will say one thing: This show was not what I expected.

The last episode started to feel like it was rushing things to close the show out.

I thought the lead girl did a good job. She had the hardest role and the most screen time out of anyone.

Not a must-see show but it has its own charm so if you're looking - give it a few episodes to see if it's for you.

The comedy in the Japanese show was alright but as usual the writers and director can't seem to develop a relationship well.

They want to be funny, they want to make social commentary, they want romance... but the problem is they mess it up and it's somewhere in no-mans land. It's not as hysterically funny after a few episodes, the social commentary is there but it's not delivered well and the romance is done super poorly - which I suspect is partially because they don't want to offend the sensibilities of a large portion of their viewers.

The only part where I felt "wow these two look like a couple" was that impromptu hug in the second last scene (the open-air market) and I guess the very, very end before the last fantasy dart-throwing magical wheel thingy. This was all in that very last episode. There were moments within the show (like their first kiss/realization) but few and far between.

I actually am sympathetic to the show and gave it a 7.5 (I forgot to add it to my list so just did it) because of the social commentary. Sometimes we don't value certain people. Housewife gets a bad rap here in North America for example. Househusband does too. Sometimes chores aren't divided fairly when both spouses are working and that should change. Homosexuality being repressed, people afraid to take a risk and confess their feelings for fear of being rejected harshly or being judged. There are lots of problems, there are self-doubt issues and it's great the show raised them.

But the romance, oh boy was that poorly done - and not because the guy is a socially awkward shut-in. It was just messy and all over the place. Hot and cold with no rhyme or reason.

I haven't bothered with the Korean show yet. Maybe I'll give it a go some time.

Yeah that would be the dream. Really hope this gets subtitled. Looks funny.

Title Moorim School Spoiler
Is this worth to watch? Happy ending?
Yes the ending is happy and it's got a whole Harry Potter-esque thing if I remember right. There's the big battle and then *a period of time later* you catch up with how the characters are doing after they have saved the world.

It's going to depend on your tastes whether you will enjoy the show. I didn't mind it but you can see a lot of other comments from people who did not enjoy it.

It's hard to describe. As you can see in the reviews and stuff: it's a bunch of kids at a school training in martial arts with a typical love rivalry among the 2 guys. The kids eventually realize they have to save the school and the world from evil forces who are attempting to acquire something.

Harry Potter isn't too bad of a comparison now that I think about it but the show isn't anywhere near as good and has a lot less fantasy in it (it's martial arts instead but there are random elements of fantasy martial arts thrown in... who knows why).

It was messy but I enjoyed it. You might enjoy it or you might not.

I hope I can keep finding subs for this. I don't usually like HK shows for the same reason I have trouble liking Japanese ones but this one had enough charm that I'm sticking with it.

The robot run/walk is hilarious. Makes me laugh every time. She's beautiful and makes a good robot.

Wished the secondary characters (Chi Ang, Sun Ah) were the lead characters.

It's not bad but I wasn't feeling the main leads - especially the idol guy.

Title The Big Boss Spoiler
Its a high school drama.
No, not really. Maybe in Season 2(?) they will devote time to it. I think it's worth a watch even without the romance. It's funny and light-hearted.

You can tell there's obviously some feelings beneath the surface but there is never any obvious acknowledgment by either one. It's more that they bicker with each other and 'hate' each other but not in such a way that either one is annoying.

One of the worst j-doramas. I stopped after episode 5, because I just couldn't stand those irritating and…
My opinion isn't nearly as extreme as yours but yeah... after a while it starts to get ridiculous. I watched the whole thing.

The feeling I got was it is cute in the way a 6 year old boy or girl with their 'crush' is cute... not a couple in their 20s about to get married (let alone that other couple in their 40s - the police officer and the shoplifter). It was funny at first but it starts to drag.

I understand it's a comedy... but it's also trying to give life lessons. Yes there are unappreciated housewives, overworked husbands, parents who demand too much from their kids, etc... But an injection of maturity would have gone a long way when they were trying to give those life lessons. There was no injection of maturity. They tried a bit with the grandparents but it was too little, too late.

Funny at first but after a while it reminded me of why I generally avoid Japanese stuff. I just think it's silly. Sometimes it's funny silly for me but most of the time it just gets on my nerves and I stop watching.

This is right on that border area for me so I stuck through. I don't have any major regrets but I don't get the huge love for it.

It's cute, fluffy and funny at the same time. I really like such lighthearted dramas. The only problem is…
Look for 优优独播剧场——YoYo Television Series Exclusive or user/TheTvseriesofficial on youtube and they have it subbed up to episode 16. They post a lot of dramas and thankfully this is one that seems to be getting subs (CC on youtube).

I think it's worth trying out. He's probably one of the more realistic teenage boy portrayals I've seen. I can remember being in his position playing video games in the middle of the night hoping my parents wouldn't check on me.

Title Lost Love in Times Spoiler
Other than the fact the title was stolen by the current emperor and Ling presumably being the last remaining son of the previous one... why exactly is Qing Chen so intent on making him emperor? You could get rid of the King and put Zhan on the throne, you could put the former Crown Prince on the throne and support him. There are options and I don't really understand the insistence that Ling be made King (and yes I did that just because it rhymed).

Title King Is Not Easy Spoiler
omg what they killed the poor couple...Da xi u moron
I thought the king would have talked them both to trick Da Xi. It would be pretty hilarious if they actually killed the 2 characters though. Because I think most of us are expecting they're both alive because the show is not serious at all...
