Yeah, people often too easily compare bls from Thailand, Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea etc. but forget to consider that all of these are made in different conditions, have different cultural backgrounds, have different target group of watchers with different expectations, want to pass on different messages etc. It’s not all just black and white. Every country has its strengths and weakness in bl production. Tbh im already glad we even have bl and gl drama and that they exist, considering all the homophobia in the world. Im just here to enjoy fiction. I might complain here and there from time to time, but at the end of the day, i still watched that show.
