This just proves that you’re just a hater and rage baiter on internet with very little comprehension skills, because what I wrote in “my 4 pharagraph rant” was not about you not liking the show, but you hating on people who did like the show. You can like or not like a show, but that doesn’t allow you to hate and disrespect people who have different opinions from you. You can just say you didn’t like this drama and move on, it was very unnecesary to comment on “western fujoshi” or whatever.

Yeah this drama definitelt needed some work, like especially in the first episodes the fight scenes were a bit ridicolous lmfao but i really enjoyed drama, even though i cant really give it the highest rating. But i rrally hope we get some extra episodes soon or season 2 (manifesting 🙏🥲)

Now when you mentioned this, as someome who is a fan of both Thai and Chinese bl drama (and literally every other country that makes them really, i’d watch anything as long as its gay lmao), I’d argue that both Thai and Chinese bl actors are generally weak and unconvincing with their acting . But that just be my personal experience idk, maybe im just too used to watching bl and oversaturated that nothing impresses me anymore ✌️ (ofc there are some exceptions from both like there are some really good Thai actors and there are some really good Chinese actors)

You’re like the only “fan” here who is sane i swear. Like, we (by we i mean people who liked and watched this drama but are not crazily obssessed with it) are not saying that this drama is bad. I admit i was a bit sad when the endind left us with nothing about the second couple, but not lowering my original vote on this, and i actually liked this drama a lot and will probably rewatch it and stay in the fandom, try to find some fanfictions etc. But some crazy die-hard fans here are hating on people who didnt like the drama and claiming that its a masterpiece and acting like it didnt have any plot-holes or any flaws and that it’s the best drama ever made. Like, you’re allowed to love a drama and its all cool, but that it simply not true and its not a reason to hate on people who didnt like ot or were disappointed with the ending. 😭

Well your statemement and opinion simply dont make sense, because i know a lot of people who dont even watch bl, but watch straight drama or shows that are just as silly, goofy, drama-free or dumb. So it’s not just bl. Would you still call all these people crazy fetishizers who fetishize straight relationships? I don’t think so. You haters always keep a double standards.

People are allowed to watch dumb, idiotic or low quality shows. Sometimes if i had a bad day, I just want to casually watch a goofy, light and poor-quality drama just to get a good laugh out it, close it and continue with my day. If we only ever watched objectively good and high-quality drama, we’d have a very little amount of things to watch.

Just because people watch this, it doesnt mean they think this is reality or that gay or queer people are or live like this in real life. Everyone knows it’s fiction. Also, just because the life of queer people is often hard in real life, it doesnt mean we only ever need to make queer shows that are dark, toxic, and dramatic. Queer people in real life can and do have fluffy and sweet romances on real life just like straight people do. Watching and imagining queer people having fluffly romantic life or silly tropes like rivals to lovers, childhood friends etc. is not always fetishizing. By that logic everyone is fetishizing everything bcs most straight dramas that everyone watches have those tropes too.

And im saying all of this as a queer person myself, and also someone who didnt even like this drama that much. I thought of this drama as meh, and i also dropped it at some episode i dont ever remember anymore. I just think you comment is simply untrue and unnecessary.

Yes, but after all you're still just an average citizen and watcher and not a professional cinema judge, just like all other people here. And we can't really say for any bl series here that they are masterpieces, because they are objectively not. People can love a show, a series, a movie, a book as much as they like, but that still doesn't give them a right to not acknowledge and ridicule other people's opinions. Just like you're allowed to like a show, they are allowed to not like it or be disappointed

Me personally, I love Fish upon the sky dearly, and in my mind, its the best bl drama for me, but i'm still very aware that objectively it's not the best bl drama ever made, and i don't go around on platforms saying its better than any other drama and hating on people who don't like it. Just because someone doesn't agree with me, doesn't mean their opinion is invalid and that they should immediately start to like that drama.

People here complain about "haters" coming here to hate on the drama, but what i see is the opposite, there are more people hating on people who didnt like the drama.

I agree with most of what you've said, and I agree that this show doesn't deserve a massive downrating to 1 stars just because people are disappointed with the ending, but also let's be realistic. This show is not a masterpiece or the best bl drama ever like some of people here are claiming. Is it iconic? Yes, it's the first drama to bring omegaverse and mpreg into live action, it's already getting a lot of fame, and it will definitely be remembered in the future. But it's definitely not such a masterpiece that deserves 10 stars. Objectively, it's an average bl drama. The actors and the production team definitely deserve respect and support tho, and they are getting it, regardless of the rating on my drama list.

They don't care about this platform nor they care about the shows rating. They care about the money and the fame, and they are already getting plenty of it, and having a rating of 4, 7 or 9 starts on my drama list won't change a bit of that. Also, people lowering the rate after the show ends is nothing now and its actually expected and it happens all the time, and not everyone needs to love the show, people are allowed to be disappointed or don't like something, and not everyone needs to be a die-hard fan of a show. Some people watch drama, shows and movies casually, and different people have different opinions. It's a normal human behaviour.

Well said. I feel like, just like for any other show or a piece of fiction, there will always be some die-hard, extreme fans who will worship and praise the show. That's the case for this one too. Some fans worship this drama because it's the first one to bring omegaverse and mpreg into live action, and most people have never expected it to actually occur in live action, so everyone is in ecstasy right now. It's understandable, and sometime in the future when we get more and more live action omegaverse series, they will progress and better and better in quality and people will look back at this one and see that objectively it was pretty average.

The same already happened with regular bl series. There was a time when bl drama didn't even exist, so we fans worshipped anything that was served to us. Like it happened to SOTUS series, back when it first aired, everyone was in ecstasy , but now looking back to it, SOTUS is just an average bl series, but it paved the way for other bl series we get nowadays, so it's still iconic.

The same is with this one, yes it's a good show, but it has nothing extraordinary. The plot is interesting but not unique or extraordinarily entertaining, the writing is average, the acting is good but we've seen better. Overall it's a pretty average bl series.
Now I understand supporting the actors and respecting their hard work, but that supporting and being a fan is one thing and being extreme is another.
Though, is this show still iconic? Yes, definitely.

sadly last year was pretty disappointing, this year was also meh until a couple of months ago, hopefully the next year will be better and we're also getting shows that are supposed to be good soon, i hope they wont disappoint too bcs i expect a lot from some of them

Well i don't usually trust or use chatgpt a lot, but it's true that 2gether and kinnporsche are 2 of the most popular bls ever made, because even people who don't watch or don't even like bl, even the homophobic people or people from extremely homophobic countries (like mine) have heard of it or watched it. While 2gether was airing on yt, it got translated to 20+ languages, which says a lot about its popularity. The Untamed is also one of the most popular ones, but i'd also say Not me got really big fame back in its time, and one thing that is true for shows like Not me, Kinnporsche, Bad Buddy and Untamed, that is also a big sign of a show's popularity is that years after airing it's still regularly watched, talked about and commented on, not only in the country of its origin but all across the globe.
This year Revenged love got really big fame and i also think it will be regularly rewatched in later years.

Tbh I didn't expect much after watching the first episode but it's growing on me and i really liked the 3rd and the 4th episode. Can't wait to see the rest

I liked the show and I wont downvote my original vote, and this has nothing to do with the plot of the series or the last episode, but this is definitely not one of the most popular bl ever made, it's far from it...Saying that is such an overstatement
