The ML was so mysterious for no reason lol. His "secret" wasn't even that much a secret. Like, i don't understand why should it even be a secret. But what was the most annoying in the whole movie is that dark haired friend of the ML. He was just so dramatic for no reason and so nosy and annoying.

I agree. This is a masterpiece. I actually don't remember if i've ever enjoyed a thriller drama this much.

I think it's just a China problem. Almost all other Asian countries with developed drama industries such as Thailand, Taiwan, Japan and even Korea which is super conservative and "shy" even in their straight dramas, don't have a problem with distributing Bl content. It's just that Chinese government likes to control absolutely everything their citizens see and do and they think that lgbtq+ is some kind of a "western propaganda" and that if their citizens watch lgbtq content, they will "turn gay" or something so they like to reduce gay content as much as possible and ban everything that contains even a slightest bit of gay.

If you already didn't, read a manhwa called Jazz for two. It's really good. It's a bl manhwa but it has a very good and complex plot and characters. It has some really sweet mature scenes but not anything drastic so they actually seem more intimate than just simple porn. The art style is unique and it adds to the whole vibe.

I think you should watch it. It has a simple setting but an unique vibe, an easy-going and refreshing plot, good chemistry and good cinematography. It's very sweet and cute. It's a drama to watch when you want to relax and just enjoy it, but if you currently want something with more adrenaline and with a more complex story then it's not a drama for you at this moment, better save it for some other time.

I meant that as why they are banned from appearing together, because China is homophobic. Chinese government just can't take it to see two boys holding hands. But yeah, that's true. It's better that either Taiwan, Thailand or Korea do a remake so we can get a proper bl content with the same story. It would be best if it was Taiwan because of similarity. There's really no point in remaking this if it's still going to be censored. I saw that Thailand is doing a remake of this but honestly knowing Thailand I don't have much hopes for it to be good.

Well i loved this one and gave it a high rating but generally you shouldn't trust ratings on my drama list because many time i've watched a show that had super low rating on mdl but it was awesome and watched shows that had super high ratings but were utter crap so yeah... The ratings were are subjective to everyone.

anyway after watching ep 8 i also have this theory that the hearing loss during rain has nothing to do with soulmates but with something else entirely, probably something scientific like lomfon said, but let's wait and see

Sounds like a "skill issue" lol. But for real, it's more about the mentality of that nation and the people. In my country, there are no unforms in schools but no one ever got bullied for wearing or not wearing certain clothes. Of course there were both rich and poor kids, wearing different kind of clothes but the thing is that nobody really cared about clothes and nobody was obsessed with material things. There was still bullying, but for other reasons. As the person said above, bullies always find a way. They will always find something to bully you about no matter what you, your parents, the school or the government do.
