After watching ep 8 i have a theory that the hearing loss during rain has actually nothing to do with soulmates but something else entirely... I think i would like that outcome the most. But im probably wrong lol let's wait and see.
maybe i should just skip the first 2 or 3 episodes and watch the rest lol like, i have seen the edits of this drama on yt and insta and it seems really interesting but every time i try to watch it, the first episode just kills my interest
100% agree, although I also really like Lomfon and think Copter is a very strong actor. Suar has a lot of charisma,…
Well said. There's something about Lomfon and Tien slowly falling for each other as they spend more time together and get to know each other better. It also feels mysterious and keeps your attention on them. Meanwhile Tai and Phat just kinda went into it before even getting to know each other. They just decided they wanna love each other because they are soulmates, and to be honest their story is just boring and that's it. But the love scene was good and I was pleasantly surprised I must admit.

I think that too. This is actually the first time I've seen all of these actors and they all are doing a very good job, but I think the actor who plays Lomfon is so far the best in my opinion, shortly followed by Tien's actor. There's just so much chemistry between them, especially when they look at each other. Meanwhile , ironically, i'm not very fond of the main couple. Maybe they as individual actors are good but I just can't feel much chemistry between them when they work together.
Just read the wiki of real king Chung ye he was a fucking rapist nd he even didn't spare his father's concubine…
Well this is a kdrama, it's not real and it's for entertainment purposes only, not for teaching history so of course some things will be changed to fit into the plot.
In most 'historical' shows, dramas and movies, no matter from what country, the real history only serves as an inspiration for the plot and characters and it doesn't mean that the character will have to act the same as in real history ,because first of all, nobody can really know what someone from far history was like and what their personality was, we can only read documents about them written by someone else. Also, a lot actions and events from real history are either too boring, too difficult to fit into the plot and pacing of the drama or to make it into an actual scene of the drama ,or simply don't make any sense and because of all of this the target audience just simply won't watch it and there will be no money. So it makes sense that a lot of things will be changed from real history. because again, the main purpose of a kdrama is entertainment.
How much sexual content is this drama or how much is it talked about?
I haven't watched the entire drama, just a couple of episodes but from my experience with watching all kinds of Asian drama for many years, considering that this is a Korean drama and an older one at that, there shouldn't be any sexual content at all. But if there is, it would probably be just a little bit of skin showing in a comedic way, some embarrassment and some very simple peck kissing but that's it. Kdramas, especially older ones are quite 'shy' when it comes as much as simple kissing.
Oh yeah! It's true for smaller productions. For example last year in Big Dragon, the actors had their first role there if im not wrong, but they did an amazing job and became quite popular.
The main couple's story started good but it got kinda boring pretty fast and now i'm way more invested in Lomfon and Tian's story. And also, it seems like Tian has the most personality here lol.
