Oh yeah, ofcourse. I was raving more about the fact that 3 of the hottest members were standing like puppies wanting her approval, that was so funny yet exciting.
Those men really went drunk on her presence, I think among all the other daring tv shows she’s the only one who got 3 members

If I were to describe her character, a beautiful yet dangerous mermaid with striking eyes.

This show just made me realize how real beauties can sway the hottest men on their little finger just like that.
That scene of Si hun and Jia at the pool, seeing such a handsome man become absolutely drunk on her, I never saw a man look and desire a woman like that, so instinctively, that was really thrilling tbh.
Jia has some charm in the way she speaks, it’s not just about her beauty but the way she can literally hypnotize them, a literal queen bee.
I took some notes from her that’s for sure, what an absolute drama.

Im happy you didn't drop the drama after that scene, the drama gets so much better from the middle towards the end,I enjoyed it so much that I check the page of JOL2 every week for updates hahaha

Did they start dating after meeting in the drama or before it?

I think they made it that way, because in the original story, there are no records of her loving him, only records of the king loving his concubine

Hi thank you for the recommendation! If you’re open to watch Chinese dramas, there’s a drama that is REALLY similar to akatsuki no yona, it’s called “the long ballad”, it’s based on a manga. The plot is almost identical besides the sci-fi element.

The only bad thing about this drama in my opinion is that the second season isnt here yet. IM CRAVING FOR SECOND SEASON SO MUCH

His death was the turning point in the plot, it basically became the fuel for our main lead, I liked this character as well but he had to go to make the lead actor be the way he is later.

It gets super intense and highly bingeable after the main lead leaves to Qi as an envoy, If I’m not mistaken it’s around episode 15

Ah I also want to add, Yanxi palace really made me an expert in palace schemes XD now whenever I watch a random drama and people praise the schemes, im like... dude its not even that impressive I KNEW it was coming... lol

I like this drama aswell, but maybe im more into action and fight scenes. But one thing for sure is that all those great dramas have something in common: badass extraordinary smart main leads <3

Story of Minglan is also one of my favs, what a great drama. But yeah, nothing can top NIF

If you like Chinese dramas I really recommend the long ballad ( it’s also this years drama-SO GOOD especially if you like character
